Speaking of the Bachelor...I might know one!
...so this is a major secret, but since I don't "know" anyone of you and I'm dying to tell someone...
one of our friends from high school who also lives in Chicago and we hang out with all the time is in the running to be the next Bachelor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They recently flew him to NYC for more interviews and he's in the running with 29 other guys. Not great odds, but it's still cool that he's being considered and gotten this far.

Ahh.. I guess because of the sensitivity I can't ask for PIP - but what's his deal?! Is he a hottie? Why can't he find a chick IRL?
I'm always curious to know what these people are like intheir every day that makes them decide to do a show like this. And by the way, this is not judgy, I literally want to know!

He's fairly cute, but still young (25). He had a serious gf in college but she broke up with him this summer and since then he's had flings here and there (like the girl he met at happy hour on a friday, slept at her place and sent DH a text Saturday morning that they were out to eat and ordered the same thing, "it's meant to be" and then after Sunday he never called her again, jerk! What's worse is that DH seems to run into this girl at bars once a month and she totally knows why she recognized him). He's a huge flirt/ladies man. He has a good job but I wouldn't say he's wealthy by anymeans.

Wow, so young! I don't watch the show, but I always thought they were older. Doesn't sound like he's ready to meet "the one"! hahah
That's awesome though, to be able to say you know one if he makes it. Do they ever have guests from home come on the show?? Maybe you and your DH could be the ones to tell his secrets of his past!

I am just starting the season as I type. I had them DVR'd and finally sat down to watch the first one.
They do sometimes show them in their hometown/life...lol, that'd be sweet!
