Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Has anyone ever used them? DH's cousin gave me a gift certificate she purchased off BuyWithMe and I have until the summer to use it. It's not that I'm not grateful -- who wouldn't want to be given a massage?! - it's just that they come to your house, and I've never done anything like that before.

I am a licensed massage therapist. When I started out a couple of years ago I did travel chair massage at nursing homes (for the staff). This seems like it would be a table massage. The table is about the same size as a twin size bed. The massage therapist should have enough room to move around the table. If possible there should also be an outlet nearby so music could be played. You may also want the tell the therapist where a sink is so she or he could wash hands before and after the massage.
You only need to decide where the massage will take place and the type you would want exp. swedish, deep tissue, focus on back, etc. Please feel free to tell the therapist if you want more or less pressure. Here's a tip: Tell the therapist that you don't like to talk much during the session before the massage starts. This way you can zone out. Enjoy your massage.
