We just got the quote this morning and it's about where we thought (just over $15k) for a 36x8 covered porch with lighting and two sets of stairs with composite decking. They also quoted out pressure treated and cedar, but we really like the idea of maintenance free composite.
There are two other things we want done (a new, wider front door) and an extra window in the upstairs room to match the other side.
Those two other projects bring the total to up over $19k which is more daunting. SO...we need to get some more quotes as we know this company is generally a little higher, although not the highest around.
We feel this will be doable in the late summer, barring anything major going on. I'm also trying to convince Pat to agree to a home equity loan since the rates are sooo good, but he's not agreeable.
