Before:

After (new rug, curtains, light fixture):

(Excuse the dog crates. We're booting them to sunroom once it gets warmer.)
You can't tell from my crappy pictures and lighting, but the champagne color of the curtains is in the lighter part of the rug too.
The plan next to is to paint the table and chairs white.
The back wall with the two lone cheesy Kirkland pictures is going to eventually be replaced by a white buffet/sideboard thing with a mirror either hung or resting on it. (Again, any ideas? Inspiration pictures?)
The wall with the collage of pictures is the one that I want to do this on:

Do you think that would be too much white? Between the table and chairs, the sideboard and the wall of white frames?
Any other alternative ideas? I'm pretty much open to anything!
Please remember that this room used to be football field green, have field markers painted around the middle and contained a bar, shelves of empty liquor bottles, an arcade and a kegorator. It's not the best now, but it's come a looooooooooooooooooong way.
Re: AW: Dining Room Makeover and WWYD?
I love what you've done so far and your ideas for the next phase.
Personally, I don't think it's too much white. If you change everything though and decided that it is, a quick change could be the accent curtains and make that a deeper olive or neutral color later on.
Something else to help balance the color/white could be chair cushions. I don't know if these are necessarily the ones I would pick (the pattern might clash with the rug pattern and I don't like the bows), but as an idea...they could match the champagne in the rug and the accent curtains.
I really like this one but it would have to be painted white obviously:
ETA: On second thought I think the first side table would be a better fit with the rest of the decor in the room.
I LOVE the rug!
And I still can't believe how far it's come from where it started. Kudos like woah.
I'm horrible at visualizing, so idk if it would be too much white.. but you could always do grey or black matting for that same idea, too. The effect would be totally different, of course, but.. who knows.
I suck at this. lol
I don't think it would be too much white. I agree with Madisen, if it is....you could add a few things for pops of color. Flowers on the side table or dining table for example. Maybe even a curtain swag in an accent color. Not these colors necessarily, but kind of like this:
