My area didn't get very much snow but there's a ton of ice on the roads so school is closed again today. I did some stats homework, put a pot roast in the crock pot and now I'm killing time on the internet.
What are the rest of you up to today?

I ran some errands today. Finally purchased a shovel because we're getting a decent amount of snow today.
Now I'm thinking about baking some oatmeal raisin cookies (Hawki's recipe)!

I just got back from an interview for a potential part-time job. However, the POTENTIAL should really be in all caps because they're not even sure if they're GOING to hire ANYONE...
I also managed to postpone jury service until June since I have a different (still potential -- waiting for HR approval/bueracracy to simmer out) part-time job opportunity that would start training next week which makes me unavailable to serve on a jury right now.
Basically I was just getting used to being home all day, every day, and now that may allllll be changing again...

We had a snow day as well today... it's still coming down and I think we are at about 4" now -- which is enough to shut down pretty much everything here. I went out to the doctor this morning and it took me 45 minutes to go about 10 miles so I came back home instead of going to work and have been working from here.
Mamie -- now I want cookies but I dont think I have any eggs... I should probably make something and perhaps update my blog -- I've seriously sucked at that lately as all I've had the energy to do is sit on the couch every night after work.

We totally have a chocolate delivery service in Austin! Well, it's a cookie delivery service, but they also bake brownies and deliver milk and ice cream if desired!
