Some silly stories

Some funny, silly things happened recently, and since the board is slow, I figured I'd share.

1.  Huz and I usually each do the same pose when we get our photo taken. I have a huge, cheesy grin, and he is much more reserved and sometimes has a serious face. One day, a few years ago, my mom took a picture and we "switched". I wore his baseball cap and sunglasses and tried my best to look tough and did the "shaka/hang loose" sign. He wore my glasses, held my purse and made the most hilariously cheesy grin ever. It was so funny! We call it "The Switch". Whenever that picture comes out at family gatherings, we always crack up.

So while we were in Texas visiting the fam, my sister's new boyfriend came over. My mom was telling stories about all of us and starts laughing, thinking about "The Switch" picture. She tries to explain it to Sister's Boyfriend. She blurts out "Yes, it's this funny picture where Moosie and Huz are doing each other!" We all disolved into giggles. She tried to clarify what she meant, but by then, we were all laughing too hard to listen. Sister's Boyfriend looked confused and slightly horrified.

 2. I recently got addicted to Wordfeud on my Droid. I was playing my cousin and it was a super intense game. Every time I would find a great space for a word, my cousin would put one of her words there! Huz was in the shower, and I was talking to him while I played and finished unpacking. I had the letters to make the word "LOVE" and would have gotten some bonus points too, but I was worried she would take that space. As he was getting out of the shower, he asked why I looked so anxious. I was so distracted and not thinking and I yelled out "Agh! I want to make LOVE, but I'm afraid Cousin is going to take my spot!"

He perked up at the first part of the sentence, then looked super confused at the second part.

3. In Texas, my sister and I were sitting in the backseat of the car on the way to dinner. My mom was in the front and turned around to get a snapshot of my sister and me. She is still always trying to pose us. She said "Moosie, lower your head". I did. Then she said "Sister, up yours". We laughed for the rest of the day at that one!
