PG Update

PS Spce... how is everything going with the PG?

Thanks for asking!  It's going well so far.  No major complaints.  I'll be 16 weeks on Tuesday.  The bad news is that the back pain I've been having is likely a hairline fracture of L5 (last vertebrae in the spine) that happened during adolescence.  The specialist I saw pretty much said that it will get a lot worse with time until the baby arrives.  After that, I have a 50/50 shot of the pain going away entirely or it getting worse.  If it gets worse after the arrival of our kiddo, he'll do a full set of xrays or MRI.

On the good news front, I succeeded in getting DH to go with me to REI to check out the travel crib I have been drooling over.  It's totally as cool as I thought it would be and now I'm drooling even more. :)  Bonus:  we went to BRU and started our registry early.  I know that if I'm housebound towards the end I'll be thankful we started early.  If not, I'm excited to have checked one thing off the list of things to accomplish.

Also good news:  Our landlord has FINALLY agreed to fixing the leak in our kitchen and living room.  Thus, we will be under construction for the next couple months while they tear up and replace the deck directly above us, then they will address the possible mold and replace the stained drywall. :)  This, too, was another reason I wanted to get started since I will likely have to pack up and move out while the ceiling is open.

Here's my 15 week picture.  I feel huge and have a goofy smile in this one.
