My phone took a crap on me a few months ago and since I have been using an ancient flip phone that my BIL had around. I am eligible for a new phone next month and with Verizon now offering the droid, Blackberry and now the Iphone....I need help on deciding which to get.
If my fellow nesties wouldn't mind posting the pro's and con's of what they have or have used, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Re: Phone Recs Please!
How funny you post this, since I posted about a month or more ago with the same question. DH wanted to buy me a smartphone for christmas, and when I asked the ladies the majority had iphone, then droids next. I got a Motorola droid 2, which is smaller than the new droid x and it has a retractable keyboard which I like. I didnt think it would make that much of a difference but I really am happy with my purchase. DH got the droid x and is happy with it. The OS took me a little to figure out how to navigate but I have no problems with it now. Amanda has the droid 2 as well I believe. DH convinced me the flexibility of the OS would be worthwhile rather than waiting for the iphone which is more narrow and straightforward.
I use FB, email, even am on it here on thenest, mp3 program synced from windows media player (the speaker is awesome and you can listen without headphones pretty well IMO) and of course, angry birds game :-) happy shopping and let me know if you have more Qs about the droid 2!
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
I have a droid and my DH has an iPhone. I am WAY more impressed with the iPhone. I love my droid (it's my first smartphone), but it is probably 1 or 2 versions behind the iPhone.
Also, IMO, the hard keypad on the droid is inferior to the blackberry, and I mainly use the touch keypad, even though I really don't like those either.

I have the blackberry bold and I really really like it. I would kill for an iPhone though! I won't be eligible for an upgrade for a while so my only option for verizon now is to pay full price which I really don't want to do, so sadly I will have to wait.
I hear the Iphone is definitely the way to go.
Good luck!
