So, GSU has already called off school for tomorrow. I'm wondering what it's like in other areas of town. Our apartment complex streets are slushy with big patches of ice. The main road is actually icier, and there are no plows or salt trucks to be found. I know they are focusing on getting the interstates passable, but this is all going to freeze over again tonight. What's it like for everyone else?

Can anyone tell me what the roads are like near North Decatur Road? We're in the process of moving from Upstate NY. We got down to around Marietta today but got a call from the lady at our apartment complex saying the complex, which is on N. Decatur Rd., is on a hill which was iced over and no one could get up it. And that maybe tomorrow it would be passable.
It kind of surprises me that they wouldn't plow that road with the hospital being on it. That was around 2pm she told us about that, can anyone tell me what the roads are like now over there?

~~~MARRIED BIO~~~
We walked over to friends' house about half a mile away from our house here in Smyrna. They drive us to a local tavern about a mile down the road. The neighborhood roads were slushy when we walked over about 6:30 pm. Now, about 8:55, they are starting to freeze. Our friends dropped us off at our house. We went nice and slow and were fine. It will be a different story in the morning, though.
DH shoveled our driveway, and it's starting to dry. I doubt we will be able to get out of the neighborhood much before noon if at all tomorrow. I will probably work from home tomorrow.
My friends flew in tonight from out west, and they came up 85 to our place and ended up staying. It took them an hour and a half to get here, and they got stuck in multiple places on the interstate. The ice was terrible, and they had difficulty navigating with so many cars getting stuck. They ended up sideways several times and kept sliding into other lanes. U.g.h.
