Hi ladies, I'm new here.

I was sooo hoping to stay home today since I drive to West Orange for work but as you all probably know I woke up to see we had much less snow than expected!

My husband is WFH today, wish I could be there cozied up on the couch!

Hi and welcome! Yeah, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be as bad as they made it out to be. I've been temping lately so they actually have me temping from home today, lol. DH is home from work today too, so he got stuck with all the shoveling. Yes

I bet he was thrilled! We had it all planned out last night to go to lunch and have a few drinks while DH worked the rest of the afternoon from the restaurant! Maybe next time.. Storm

I'm a teacher (not in nyc) and was surprised that they called the snow day last night... happy though! Couldn't believe I woke up to sun today:)

NYC schools were on. The side roads weren't plowed, but my husband took me to work in our 4 wheel drive suv. I would normally be mroe adventurous, but playing it more safe hile I'm pregnant. I'm not very good at shoveling or pushing cars nowadays.

Hi and welcome! I was so hoping that DH would have a snow day from work (he works at NYU) but they didn't call it. And the snow isn't so bad anyways...

So i've been home all by myself and i've been completely unmotivated to do anything other than watch tv and crochet.

So much for a snow day fun day!
