Who of you in the area got a snowday? I hoping they cancel after school activities today.

    Me! I teach up north, almost out of the huge snow range for this storm! I was so worried I wouldn't have one. PHEW! How much snow are you getting?

    Me!  My school is right in the heart of albany.  I live a ways away from the school.  We have a good ten inches at the house and it's still snowing.  I'm SO glad we are off today!  I was able to finish a book I was reading and relax a bit.  Even sleep in!

    We got maybe four inches throughout the day. It was really bad at the end of the day but we still had after school activities. Syracuse never gets those coastal storms.

    Im in the Syracuse area too, and while not a teacher, I coach Varsity cheerleading - I ended up cancelling my practice last night because of the snow! (I work for a district that NEVER cancels school, and rarely cancels after school activities - its annoying sometimes)
