Yeah I got the day off - thank goodness! After having the allergic reaction to the meds I planned on staying home today regardless. Now I don't have to take a day for it. I was up at 3 am in an oatmeal bath to try to relieve the itching. It helped for a few hours and I was able to get some sleep (for the first time in a week!) but now that I'm awake again I feel the itch starting up again. Hopefully this doesn't last long because I can't get out of my driveway right now to go to the store and get anything either. Looks like a good 10 inches of snow in my driveway. But at least I'm home.
I assume you didn't get a snow day. You did have a delay though earlier when we had nothing right?
I shoveled my way out so I could get some calamine lotion from my sister. I didn't have any at my house. I think the itchy-ness is going away since the meds haven't been in my system for over 24 hours. Hopefully I'll get a good nights sleep tonight. I managed to clean my house a bit today and I finished the second book in the hunger games series. I can't wait to start the 3rd book but I don't have it. I may just have to buy it for my reader but my students have offered to loan it to me as well so I don't know if I want to spend the money or just wait until tomorrow to get the book at work. Decisions, decisions lol.
I'll have to bring the list I typed up to our meeting next week and we'll have to figure out a book for next month. I think that the hunger games series are good and I'd LOVE to talk about them with other people. I know Beth has read them too and she said the same thing when we had lunch together a few weeks ago.
