It's almost Valentine's Day...planning anything special?
I actually have a Birthday dinner to go to on next Friday night (It's a girls night B-day at a restaurant, and H is happy to send me alone!), but I'm hoping that H and I can do something romantic on Saturday...maybe a movie and lunch...or dinner...not really sure.
Any good ideas?

Re: It's almost Valentine's Day...planning anything special?
Haha yeah Rebecca definitely has the most unique V day plan yet! OMG! Speaking of, I just realized something - my cousin K in Pennsylvania is also due to have her baby on Valentine's Day! EEEEEE!!!!!!
I think she's having a girl too!
Now as for DH and me - we always do a dinner and movie date night for V-day but we never celebrate it right on V-day because the restaurants are always so nutso. Since it's on a Monday, I think we'll end up having our date night that Saturday. As far as the calendar looks, we don't have Amanda that weekend.
Yep. I can't out do that one!
Well no baby birthing or announcing for us haha
Our dating anniversary is the 18th and our engagement anniversary is the 21st so we usually combine it all into one nice night out and we don't have to worry about going out on Vday since its sure to be crazy!
THIS! Maybe I'm being a downer about it, but I kinda hate Vday. When I was single, Vday made me feel horrible and lonely and when I was in relationships, there was so much pressure to have the perfect Vday. It all just seems so forced. Hey, I wouldn't mind some chocolate or flowers, but other than that, it'll be a typical weekend for us.
Funny you say that Alli.....when I was single I hated V day too (and mind you, I didn't meet my DH until I was 35).
I think the most fun V day of my "single time" was back in 2003. I used to hang out on this Detroit clubbing website back then. A bunch of the people on the forum planned a big club night at this place downtown and I decided to join them. I was first going to meet up with 3 other girls from the site for dinner in Greektown, then we were going to join everyone else at the club. A guy friend ended up tagging along with one of the girls and he bought dinner for all 5 of us. Then we met up with about 100 other "friends" at the club and had a wonderful time! That was when I realized that V-day was going to be whatever I made of it.
Of course I like it better now that I have my hubby, and that's one of 2 days a year that he gives me flowers (the other is always on our anniversary of our first date, where he gives me a red rose for every year we've been together).
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Usually we go out to dinner for Valentine's day, but this year I am most likely flying to Europe that afternoon for work. My choices were to miss V-Day or miss DH's bday the following week, so I went with missing V-Day.
We'll probably do a little something the weekend before. I like celebrating it since it's the one day a year that DH has to be a little romantic.
TTC #1 since 4/10, Dx: MFI IVF planned for April/May
