I know the weather was really bad today, we didn't get our mail today. Not that there is anything I really was waiting for , but just curious if anyone else got theirs?

I don't think we did...They basiclly shut down the entire city. We did get an oil delivery today though (i was totally shocked)

no - I wasn't really expecting it to come either, and we got mail during the last storm. It was just so awful today!

Today was trash day too, that didn't come either (we didn't put any out, we assumed they wouldn't come and I didn't want the plow to run it over and make a mess)

I didn't check but I'm sure we did, we got it at work and I saw a mailman out when I was driving home.

No mail and no garbage and recycling pick up for us. We desperately need a recyling pick up as the last time they were supposed to come it snowed, too, so they didn't come. We still have all our Christmas boxes left and they are piling up in our garage!

Didn't check at home, but we did at work. I don't recall ever not getting mail. Isn't there something about the post office always delivering?

I know UPS and FedEx were closed here today.

Jaime - they do, but I believe they also have the right to not deliver if they can't safely access your mailbox. most of my street, the boxes are on the houses and I know our driveway wasn't accessible for a good chunk of the day thanks to the plows, so he couldn't get to our house.
