I'm only 7 months away from graduation
This semester is going to be really hard, I get the feeling I won't be seeing much of the interwebz. I'm popping in from a study break to say hi now!
I am SO happy for everyone that's gotten a BFP lately! That's super awesome, congratulations ladies.
DH and I were TTC briefly, but decided to take a little break. We were both a little surprised that we weren't more upset with the BFN last cycle. We had a nice looong talk and decided to wait until graduation at least. We want to plan a big vacation after graduation (probably a cruise!). I'm a little bummed because I definitely feel "ready" for another baby. So does DH. But we both feel this is the more responsible option for us at this time. I have my annual appointment with my OB next month and will bring up my possible pcos diagnosis from before I got pregnant with Ryan. I want those labs re-done. I need to know for sure.
I'll try to jump in from time to time to "see" everyone. Again, congrats on the BFP's and GOOD LUCK to everyone still waiting.
Re: Update on me :)
Glad you're doing good! I keep up with you on FB and always get a laugh out of some of your posts
.
I can't imagine being pregnant while finishing up the last stretch of school so I think you guys came to a good decision (not that my opinion matters!). A cruise will totally be warranted!
Good luck with the semester!
Hey there! Congrats on being so close to being finished with school wow!!
I agree with summer that I think you'll be happy with your choice to wait until after you graduate and of course take that cruise.
I also keep up with you on FB as well. But it's good to see you around here too! I can't believe how big Ryan has gotten. I can't believe it's already a year old!

Before I had Ryan my periods were crazy (they still are). I would have 60 day cycles. So I had bloodwork done. It showed my LH was 7.1 and my FSH was 14. I don't remember the rest. But I know that ratio raised some "red flags" according to my OB. She also said the FSH was "troublesome". She basically said not to worry about it until we wanted to TTC (of course we were worried anyways). But before I could go to another appointment, I got pregnant with Ryan! I switched OB's mid pregnancy so never really talked about it with my new OB.
Also, when I was born I had bilateral hernias. The hernias caused bilateral ovarian torsion, or twisted ovaries. We knew (and my parents never hid it from me) that they were unsure how that would affect my future fertility because they weren't sure how long the oxygen supply was being cut off to my ovaries since it happened in utero. I always knew there was a possibility of TTC in my future.
I want the pcos labs re-drawn with my new OB. For all we know, the tests could've been wrong OR Ryan could be our miracle baby. We'd just like to know what/if we're dealing with here, because it could affect our TTC timeline.
