Also, she might get to go home from the hospital tomorrow. She's up to 5lbs 5oz.

Oh, and now they are saying that she is not going through withdrawal, so that's excellent. Her baby shower is Sunday. I can't wait! She's SOOO teeny, I think the only clothes that won't be too big on her are those itty bitty sweaters I bought.
I didn't have my camera with me, so all I have to share are some crappy cell phone pics that SIL took earlier today.

Well, technically, they will be fostering her for the next 14 months. Unless they can afford to hire a lawyer and go for full adoption. But after 14 months, DHS will I think help them pay for the adoption stuff. I am not 100% sure how it works.
But basically, unless the bio mom gets her sh!t together, she's theirs.

That always makes me so sad!
Yes. Her mother tested positive the day she was born. Prescription painkillers, from what I understand. They've had Jacey on morphine but her last dose is now going to be Saturday afternoon, so she won't get to go home until after that. So, she's not going home today, but she's still doing good and eating like a champ.
Oh, and they finally got a picture with her eyes opened!
So, it's like pretty much biologically impossible, but she totally looks like Keith's grandpa in this one. LMAO
