What are you reading?

I just finished On Folly Beach by Karen White. It was quite good.

I'm reading How to Talk to a Widower by Jonathan Tropper now. I like his writing. It's in your face and can be funny, but it's also touching.

Re: What are you reading?

  • I'm reading The Ground Beneath Her Feet by Salman Rushdie.  I'm about half way through and so far really like it.

  • Also - if you (or anyone else) are on Good Reads, how do you find friends?  I just joined and have no idea how to find people I know!

  • The Chronicles of Narnia (CS Lewis) Embarrassed

I love the movies and haven't read the books since I was like 10.

I also just finished the last book in the Bride Quartet by Nora Roberts.

After Narnia . . . I have no idea. I still haven't gotten to The Red Queen by Philippa Gregory, so maybe I'll see if I can pick that up at the library.

Can you tell that I read just about everything? Hehe.

    Woke up. Still queen.
  • I'm currently reading The Search by Nora Roberts - it's pretty good.

I'm so ready to be done w/ the book so I can start on the True Blood book series that I got from SS (QueenOfAnything)!

  • I'm reading In Search of Eden by Linda Nichols. I'm only at the beginning so I have no idea if I like it yet or not. I'm hoping to get some reading done tonight.

Ooh, I really liked that.  I went on a tear a few years ago and read most of his books, and this was my favorite.

  • H gave me the book from the TV show "Castle" I started it a little while ago, set it down, and haven't picked it up again. It was good, so I really should get on that again. I also have a book in my school bag called "Tangerine", a kid lit book I am almost done with. I just haven't been reading much lately.
    Bad me.

When I joined a few years ago, it prompted me to go through my Gmail contacts to find people, but I'm not sure how to search for people otherwise.

  • Just finished The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.  Now reading The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory.  Loved her The Other Boleyn Girl and hoping this one is just as good.

I just joined a couple weeks ago - I keep trying to search for my facebook friends but GR just kind of bugs out.

I read Dan Brown's Lost Symbol when it first came out and loved it!  I like all of his books.  I'm really interested to see the movie for this book when it comes out (whenever that is)!

I'm cheap - I wait for paperbacks ... I was bummed out because I figured out who the bad guy was about 1/2 way through - and K kept lauging at me because I was YELLING at Katherine about who it was...and by the time all the 'danger' was over and I still had 20 pages of explanation to go, I just wanted to be done.  I liked both The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons better.
