  • Vet- Allatoona Animal Hospital

Hair- I don't mind Salon Venessa, I see Denise, my Mom see's Mary and has for 15 years (atleast!)  If you are willing to drive though, go see Soren. He is AMAZING. He used to cut my hair when he was the master stylist at Vidal Sasson in Lenox http://www.sorensalon.com/

  • OB/GYN - another one for Dr. Gandhi at Cherokee Women's Health. There's an office in Woodstock and a larger office in Canton that I occasionally have had to go to for certain things. She also did my surgery in Oct. and I have had no issues with her. Note that if you are planning for children, they deliver at Northside in Canton and not Kennestone.

Dentist - braindead, I can't recall the name off-hand, will update.

Vet - Bells Ferry Veterinary (near 92 & Bells Ferry) I cannot recommend these guys enough. We personally know one of the owners and one of the Vet Tech's is a very good friend of ours. DH has been there and said the office was very nice.

Salon - I see Georgeann at Bob Steele Salon off of Barrett Pkwy/Piedmont Rd (whatever it's called at that point) right off of 575 in Marietta/Kennesaw (near the Barnes & Noble).

Eventually we do want to start a family, so is it good or bad that Dr. Ghandi delivers at Northside as opposed to Kennestone (I am completely unfamiliar with both).

  • Kennestone vs. Northside Cherokee is all personal preference. For me, personally, after having had procedures at both - I prefer Kennestone - that's just me though. However, Northside may be closer to you and you may like them just fine. Both are about the same distance away from me. You could visit them to see which you like. Both do tours.

That said, I really do like Dr. Gandhi. If we should happen to have children (extremely unlikely), I can't say I'd necessarily find a new doctor just to deliver at Kennestone.

I would DEF reccommened Kennestone or Northside Atlanta for their womens centers. I'll leave it at that.
