  It didn't happen in my state, why should I care?

  Haiti is just some poor stupid country somewhere, why are they still talking about it?

  I have health insurance, why should I have to help pay for sick people that don't?

  Stop talking about Haiti!  I want to know what Kim Kardashian did this week instead!

  Also, this kind of made me laugh even though I agree with what she's saying:

I get annoyed when I see a posting about needing T&Ps for friends of friends of people on here (I have no issue, though, with sending T&Ps for people on here... that's totally different). I don't know your mother's brother's niece. I am sure whatever they are going through is horrible, but if I were to focus each moment on sending T&Ps out to every person in the world that is going through something horrible, I'd crumble under the weight. I prefer to focus my attention on people I actually know either IRL or on here.

  The Haiti thing is ridiculous but I can see the point about the AZ shooter and giving him too much attention and fame.  I know it can't not be reported, but it still lets the other crazies know that if they shoot some other place up, their "message" or whatever they were pissed about will be broadcast all over the country.

  T&P requests bug the sh*t out of me when they aren't for ppl who are actually on the board.  The threads should really be titled:  "Hey, I'm an AW and I want to talk about this tragedy so you'll give me attention"
