Pizza Bake Recipe

On the WFD thread I said we had pizza bake and there were some requests.

The original recipe is from a Taste of Home Cookbook I think, I modified it to be more delicious.  I am also not one to ever measure things when I cook (only when I bake) so I apologize that I don't have exact quantities.

In a 9 x 13 dish spread out one layer of crescent roll dough (pinch perforations shut).  Top this layer with sausage (about 1 lb- brown this in a pan before), pepperoni, mozzarella cheese (about 2 cups) and a can of pizza sauce (in any order).  Then place the other layer of crescent roll dough on top (pinch perforations shut.)  Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.

I also put some garlic parmesean spread on top of the top layer, or you could do garlic butter.  Last night I substituted a jar of pasta sauce instead of pizza sauce (it was what we had on hand) and it was a little soupy, so stick with the pizza sauce.  You could easily use any pizza toppings.  FIL is a vegetarian so we may make a veggie one for him soon.

Its not super healthy, but we each had a small piece and a big salad with it to make it a full meal that wasn't so bad for us.
