morning all!!!!! Hope you have all been well
I took 5 seconds to come check in, I miss the knot........its not the same on here
and I find myself having less and less time to post!
Life is going well...........our fence is finished pictures are on facebook for those of you friends with me. I looks amazing but still is the size of a half a football field. The wondeful hill in our backyard is great for the dogs but myself not so much its a little complicated trying to play with the dogs when the toy lands at the bottom of the hill and you go to grab it and they chase you down the hill
House project #2 is complete..........took the day off yesterday. Had wooden floors layed..Aztec Teak Wood looks absolutely amazing and it was worth the half price deal we got........orignal 6,000 for the whole house except the bedrooms and kitchen got it for 2800.00
House project #3 starts saturday.........new carpet in all the bedrooms........do you guys remember shag carpet? Well when we were picking it out last week DH saw it and goes we totally have to have it. So the 2 guest bedrooms will have shag carpet.........Im sure our child to come will absolutely love it or think we are nuts.
House project #4 begins next saturday........stone tile in the kitchen
Then we are done with projects til the summer because school is in session and Im going back becoming a book worm.
And to other news.........I am headed to the doctor next thurs to see if a bean has been cooked yet!

I'm totally with your H on the shag carpet, too. I keep looking at it b/c this other stuff we have in our house now is just gross. It gets all matted and nasty in the high-trafficked areas. And it's just not as comfy to walk or lay on.

Great job on the house projects! I do not miss the constant big projects that follow the first few months of moving into a home.
We've done nothing big for months and it is flipping awesome! I do want to repaint our bedroom, and also paint the basement and the laundry room. All in do time, but it is a good winter project.
Good grief you've been busy! I third the wooden floors. My parents got rid of all the carpet in their house years ago and I love the look of them (and their MUCH easier to clean)!!

agreed--we rent right now and our condo has all carpets. i hate it! they are so gross, stained and ugh. i cannot wait to move into our own house and have hardwood floors. of course, we chose to live in a pretty expensive area, where a starter house is about $250K...so we will be renting with carpets for another year i think...
