Ummm. Snickerdoodles. I just found gluten free snickerdoodles and I have eaten almost all of them.
FWIW - they do have cream of tartar.
Mine are so chewy. It just helps with rising. Mmmm. I am having one now.

the cream of tartar helps with the rising, but it also adds to the flavor. a classic/traditional snickerdoodle has it, even though you can make them without it.
