  I don't do the walls unless something's spilled on them or I'm going to paint them. I do the baseboards once every few months. Usually I just vacuum the baseboards, sometimes I'll wipe them down with a Clorox wipe. For my walls I use a little bit of Simple Green mixed with warm water. I wouldn't use bleach walls, it could damage your paint.

  If I notice dust on the walls, I use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe them off.  I don't use anything wet unless I'm trying to remove a spot.

  For the baseboards I normally run the vacuum along the tops once every couple of months.  I wipe them down once or twice a year with a gentle multipurpose cleaner (vinegar/water or Mrs. Meyers) with a microfiber cloth.
