Re: Confession Session and Good Thought Thursday
I confess that I actually prefer when Jason falls asleep on the couch. He has trouble sleeping so he usually stays up much later than I do, and some nights he falls asleep on the couch while watching TV. I typically don't like to snuggle and he snores awful, so it's nice sometimes to have the bed all to myself.
I confess that sometimes when I am cooking, I pretend I am the host of a cooking show and actually say things out loud lol.
Good thoughts: I received a job offer over 2 weeks ago and went in for my drug screen and fingers prints but still haven't gotten my start date. They told me all my stuff came back good and that they'd call me with my start date, but I haven't heard anything yet. I really hope I get a call from them today or tomorrow so I can start Monday because we really don't have enough for rent this month.
Good thoughts: I was denied unemployment for my last job and had my hearing yesterday. It felt good to really give my side of the story and stand up for myself infront of my old boss. If unemployment sides with me, I'd get several thousand dollars of back pay which would be amazing and really help us so much.
Xan-that is great!! I am so glad that you appealed the unemployment decision. Isn't it a great feeling to at least have your story heard. Good luck! I hope that you get the back pay and get to start your new job soon.
Confession-I want my kitchen done but I don't want to help Lance with any of the work, that is so terrible of me!! I would rather sit on the couch and work on TY's than help him.
Which leads me to #2: I am having such a hard time getting my TY's done, I will do so good working on them and then I just have to take a break. I am not enjoying doing them what so ever!
Good Thoughts: See above! And I am so glad Shasta found her cat also!
Going to attempt to PIP since the Lovely Hannha did a step by step!
