Have I shared this irrational fear with you?
I have a fear of multi-stall restrooms. Not just a dislike from the poop particles and the non-privacy, but an actual fear. Horror movies where some evil character steps of the toilet seat and kills someone only fuel the flames.
It is especially bad for school restrooms. Which sucks, since I work in the schools.

Our bathrooms have stalls. And the lights are on a timer, so if no one walks past the door for some amount of time, all the lights go off. And sometimes, in the dark, you can hear it. A very, very faint scritch scritch scritch. You best get out of the bathroom real quick then, before the psychopoomurderer comes out of the toilet with his knife made of poop to kill you.

I shouldn't say "afraid", I'm just really freaked and grossed out by bare, dirty mattresses. When I'd sleep over at my ex's place, I'd inevitably wake up face down in bare mattress because his sheets would come loose during the night and it would make me nauseous. I have like 3 mattress covers on our bed, haha.

Random bodies of water freak me the eff out: toilet tanks (I can't look in them), deep pools with giant drain covers (I still shudder at memories of middle school when we swam in gym class and I had to backstroke over the deep end.), water treatment plants (we went once on a field trip and I just about wet myself), and any old contained water body where you can't see the bottom. Lakes and rivers don't bother me though. But I don't like looking at buoy chains going into the water. And don't even get me started on how much pictures of Nemo 33 (world's deepest swimming pool) freak me out!!! EEEEEEP.
eta: I got heart palpitations just Googling this and seeing the tiny thumbnails. ALL OF THESE pictures freak me out. *shudder*

Right? I can't imagine being in the same room as that pool. I can barely look at pictures of it. Creeeeeeeeeeeps me out.
Do you normally have a weird pool fear like me or is that one just so deep it's freaky?

You and Angelo. Did you watch Top Chef All Stars? Angelo won't go in swimming pools because of his shark fear. Uhhhhh.....
I would not suggest watching any of the videos then. *double shudder*
Y'all are a bunch of pussies.
::says the woman that had nightmares after seeing clowns in the Holiday Bowl parade::
Agreed.
Lakes, though, freak me the freak out. You don't know what might be at the bottom.

omg! i love everyone in this post...requesting permission, princess of the bride quotes, glory holes!
its like i landed in heaven and you are all my angels.
You people with your fears of bodies of water are so weird. It's just a lot of water.
Now, freaking out and screaming like a little girl when you accidentally step on the shower drain? Completely normal.
The nerve!

I'm not afraid of the water, it's the murk. And the 8ft sturgeons. And the potential of dead bodies just... floating... down there. All covered in gunk. But you don't know because you're just floating along at the top and can't see the bottom.
I'm pretty sure I've just given myself nightmares.
