Recommend a vacuum please!
I am so SICK of this Dirt Devil POS DH bought (back when we were engaged) and I just wanna throw it.
It does not suction at all. It's gotten to the point where I just sweep our carpets because that works better. I tried to vacuum the dog hair off our couch just now and it didn't do anything so I just lint rolled it.
When my mother comes down to visit, I always have her bring her Dyson so I can vacuum my carpets. I love it.
While I would love the Dyson Animal, realistically we can't afford it.
So could anyone suggest a relatively cheap and good vacuum? You know, just until I save up for my Dyson.
Thank you SOOO much!!
Re: Recommend a vacuum please!
The Shark Navigator with pet hair attachment. It's at Bed Bath and Beyond so you can use your 20% off coupon - it's around $130 or so with the coupon.
It's seriously the best vaccum. Lightweight, easy to maneuver, GREAT power. When I got mine, a Dyson rep was at the vacuum display and said it's a great vacuum too! My mom and sister both have it as well.
I love the animal. That's what my mom brings over and it's CRAZY all the hair it gets up!
The price is crazy, though.
And thanks for the suggestions, ladies! I'm trying to convince DH to come with me to BB&B tomorrow. I wish I could show you how nasty this floor looks AFTER trying to vacuum with that POS I have now.
Ditto to PP.... I've seen refurb's @ Fry's (not sure you have one near you)? They sell them for a fraction of a new..
