Back on the blood thing... preg laides please read.

The post today got me thinking since there are so many RH- ladies here. I am O- and a$$hat H was A+ so I had to have that Rogram shot since I was -RH. My OB office gives a script for the shot that you have filled and bring in the shot. Well, when I went to get it filled I was informed that the insurance does not cover it and it was going to be well over $100.

I called the Insurance company and chewed them a new one because this was a serious situation if I didnt receive the shot.  Finally after hours of arguing with Aetna I was told that if I ordered it from the ins. co. pharmacy and had it shipped to the doctor that the ins. would cover the shot 100%.

The point of this post... If you find yourself having to pay an outrageous amount for a med that the insurance company wont cover, check with the insurance companies pharmacy sometimes they will cover it and ship it to you for free without even having a copay.
