Hidy Ho! Any good weekend plans? A friend of mine called last night to ask if she, her H and 4 yo son (who may or may not be freaked out by dogs) can stay with us this weekend. Of course, I said yes. But I also reminded her of Mabel, and the fact that we'll be watching football all weekend. J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets!!! (I know they'll likely lose, but I'm hoping it'll at least be a decent game).

Mabel the Loser.
Re: Weekend plans...
As I mentioned earlier in the week, Mr. Garlictits will be out of town all weekend, so the dog and I are having some good girl time. I plan to cook food that I like and the H doesn't, watch Toy Story 3 that Netflix delivered this week, and generally enjoy the peace and quiet. The fact that its a 3 day weekend is just added bonus.
Oh...and there will probably be wine involved in all of the above.
a lot of football, eating and drinking. and I hope you're right about the Jets losing!
We are going to a new car show tonight, and going out to dinner for our anniversary tomorrow night.
Our anniversary is Monday so we both took the day off. Not sure what we'll be doing but we'll figure out something. We decided instead of going away for our anniversary this weekend, we'd save some more $ and go to Las Vegas in March.
We are apparently getting a snow storm tomorrow so we plan on doing nothing but we may take B out in the snow for a bit to play.
Sunday I am not sure yet. Maybe grocery shopping or something along those lines.
Well it appears I have a UTI. So I will be visiting the urgent care tonight. I never get them but have had two this year. This is what happens when you stand on your head after sex. (I was desperate, okay.)
Other than that I have no plans expect to pack for my trip next week.
Tomorrow Ian has his first haircut. Then, we're having some friends over to watch the football games so I've got some cooking to do. Sunday will be more football watching.
Ian and I have Monday off and we'll probably go pajama shopping for him. I have the worst time finding jammies for him.
We'll be huddling for warmth until Sunday probably. Feel free to make fun of me. I've been in a virtual training with some people outside of Edmonton and they've been hearing our weather announcements all week, so I'm used to it by now.
I'll probably make some red beans and rice tomorrow morning and then we'll be lazy and watch movies all weekend. We were thinking of going to the observatory Saturday night but gah it's cold.
I might make some Mardi Gras decorations for our door and porch. I'm ready to get started but Easter is so late this year, so the parades don't start for another few weeks.
The nerve!

Oh Dawg.
Three.Day.Weekend! Woohoo! I have no plans except for tonight. Our friend is playing a show at a little cafe near our house, so we're going to go see him. I expect to spend the rest of the weekend doing as little as possible. And playing lots of Mario.

Tonight: fancyish bar with lots o beers and cheese/meat plates or whatever. Tomorrow: lunch + shopping + bar hopping + sleepover + hopefully a sweet ass brunch the next day.
Sunday: do a little dance because I'm off Monday and it's not the last day of the weekend.
Monday: most likely Indian buffet for lunch.

I took the day off work. Just went to the gym, I'll probably spend the rest of the day cleaning, shopping, and maybe reading or watching a movie. Tomorrow I'm planning a girls day. A fun bar/restaurant district in town is having something called the "Ice Carnival" which is going to include a ton of fun events. We'll be doing a lot of eating, drinking, shopping, and whatever random fun they have going on:
We're also getting a hotel room down there at a new luxury hotel that I've been DYING to have an excuse to stay at, so I'm pretty excited. I love girls weekends.
Sunday we'll probably laze around the hotel drinking mimosas until check out, then that afternoon I'm going to my Mom's house to celebrate her birthday.

2013 Calendars and More!
We're going to go spend way too much at IKEA and finally get our office done and put back together. There is office stuff all over the frickin' house and it's driving me batty. The trip will most likely include a feast of Swedish meatballs and lingonberry sauce. Yummmmmmmm.
I'm sure we'll go to the dog park at least 3 times. Renzo lurves it there.
And I'm sure I'll cough until I can't breath a couple more times. I've already done it once this morning at work (awesome).
I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
Are those mushrooms stuffed with crab?
What are your plans for her room?
I think it's going to be a football weekend. Pete's going to the game on Sunday so I get to stay home with the kids and marinate in a dirty house! YAY!
My house is so trashed right now, I don't even know where to start.
I should clean it... but I'm overwhelmed. Have I mentioned my Christmas stuff is still up? My tree is brown.
Maybe I should consider cleaning my house...
That's embarrassing.

Saturday we'll go cross country skiing. Sunday probably cleaning and football.
My H and I have the day off on Monday but I think we will both plan on working so we can take off later in the week and go downhill skiing. I have limited ski days left and I'm trying to take advantage.
Also on Monday, I have my first big appointment with the RE. Ultrasound, injections and I have to pay them lots of dolla dolla bills. I may shed some tears that day.
11/11/11 = 5 years. Woah!
The y have cream cheese and stuff, too, but I think there's some simmering in wine first. I love these little suckers, could tAKE A WHILE TO PERFECT.
wE HAVE THE FURNITURE FOR lILa's room, but the only bedding i like so far is at Target, May have to get to Buffalo in teh next few weeks.
Baking cookies with Bug this afternoon, just because. Saturday I have a gardening class (citrus gardening, mostly because I want to know if it's feasible with our space), then that evening I'm dropping off food for a new mama and meeting the babe. Sunday we're going to my mom's. I'm excited because my aunt is up from Fresno, less excited because my sis has been a total control freaky twat waffle every time we're there.
Pdxria- I was thinking the pizza like I made you. Do you think it's a good fit?

Ducks, but I'm doing Darla Tuesday.
Pastas are good.
Quiche? A has a really good recipe too.
Veggie chili? I'm personally a fan of TJ's boxed cornbread or you could do baked potatoes.
Soup?
Mind, I haven't made any of these, they've been sitting in my rainy day folder. I don't tend to do dinners that transport well.
