Re: Happy Friday!
This morning, I'm going for my 36 week u/s to check Margot's position and then I have my OB appt. I really hope my baby girl is head down!!!! I'm kinda sad too because DH had to fly to Miami for the day, so he's going to miss this u/s - he's been to all of the others
After that, I'm going to run some errands.
Tomorrow, we have a hypnobirthing class.
Other than those things, I'll be focusing on finishing the nursery, installing the carseat, packing my hospital bags, making my labor playlist, writing thank you's etc. I feel like I'm in crunch time and I just want this stuff done!! Thank goodness that Monday is a holiday!
Today: Work, then theater for Cocktail Hour.
Saturday: Work, then bake, then girls' night with some friends.
Sunday: Nothin'.

Kristen- so exciting!!!
Today, work..then H and I are going out w a couple other couples for them to enjoy "happy hour" even though truthfully Boston doesn't have happy hour drink discounts (old blue law) but they discount food sometimes. So I will have my seltzer or water with lemon, or, hmm, maybe splurge on gingerale!! Then I think we're going out to dinner...haven't been out to dinner in about 3 weeks I think.
Tomorrow...gym, I may see if my mom wants to meet me for lunch. Tomorrow night, we may go out to dinner w/ a friend then meet up w/ another friend for his sisters birthday. We'll see though.
Sunday...PATS VS JETS. BOOM!

Today: Work until 5. Gotta go home at lunch to pack the car and finish up some things, then headed to my mom's after work. She's making pork chops for dinner - nom nom nom. I also need to call Alfred Angelo and see if they can get me in next week - two snaps on my bridesmaid dress broke last night. Stupid dress.
Tomorrow: Grocery shopping, gotta run by Sam's to get some more wipes, then we're going to OKC to go shopping! Well, this will be the trip we start looking for spring stuff for JJ and buy big things for next year...so it'll be shopping for him. :P
Sunday: Relaxing at home. Nothing really planned, which is nice. Might rent a couple of movies from Redbox and just veg on the couch.
Monday: No work for me! If my eye doctor place is open, I'm finally going to get my new glasses. Otherwise, another uneventful day at my mom's. We'll head back this way later that night.
Today is work, hopefully a short day.
Tomorrow we're going to look for bedroom furniture for us. I told my mom this and she said "great idea, you guys need a grown up dresser", so I guess it's time. Then to Target to check out their baby section. I'm starting to get very upset that I have to register there since we don't have a BRU and Trav's family won't order online.
Sunday is cleaning and laundry.
The Sand in My Snow Boots
Nothing much going on this weekend. Will do the usual cleaning. And the only thing I would like to do is finish up some things for my nephews 1st birthday party. I also want to start on a spring wreath for the front door (will put out Feb 1stish) It feels good knowing I can sleep in all weekend and just do whatever.
finishing up some projects/more unpacking (must buy curtains this weekend!), regular stuff (cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping), steelers game, maybe church on sunday. no big plans... oh, DH wants to go to the casino. we'll see if that happens or not. i'm hoping sleeping in and afternoon naps come into play as well
Go Pats! Ya know, since the Eagles are out...the Pats are next on my list.
Today I'm off, although I had three (unimportant) meetings and a report due so I probably could've worked a full day easy. May and I are going to go up to Grandma's and play with her cousins until her dr. appt. at 2:30 (making sure her ear infection is 100% cleared up). Don't know what the plan is tonight.
Tomorrow we're doing the trip we were going to do last weekend before the baby got sick, but you can bet we will be home in time for RAVENS VS STEELERS. May will be sporting her Ravens cheerleading outfit for sure.
Sunday, church, and watching the Pats v Jets game. (I could give a sh!t about the Bears/Seahawks game...will probably be napping during it! I just really hate the NFC.)

Better than the Jets.
Listen, there are two teams as a born and raised Massachusetts resident I must despise. The Jets and the Colts. It is what it is. Whether or not they have good teams, players I find attractive, or what have you...it's just what I have to do.
Tonight - Last of the house cleaning D's best friend is coming up for the weekend.
Saturday - Mohegan Sun to go see Aaron Lewis Acoustic show, I can't wait...love him!!
Sunday - Not sure what we're doing.

Larissa - My dad's from Philly, so I grew up an Eagles fan. Sorry!
But I'm with you on the Cowboys. I have never, ever, EVER been a fan of the Cowboys [and I grew up in Cowboys country, pretty much]. And I never will be [except for Dez Bryant, since he went to OSU and all].
Torn between Steelers and Ravens - I'm a fan of both! I think I'm pulling for the Ravens more though.

He's not obnoxious about it - but my aunt is. Oh my gosh. It's horrible. I don't think I could go to an actual Eagles game in Philly because they are waaaaaay too much. You're SO right. You'd think Michael Vick became a god of some sort when he became QB in Philly...oi.

Kristen- That's so exciting!
We had movers come over this morning to size up the place. The guy was really nice and explained how everything works. I'm stoaked that I don't have to pack or unpack a single thing! As long as we find a place to live before we move...
We have 2 realtors coming by tomorrow to look at the house. It will go on the market next week. So Aaron and I will be putting B to bed early to spend our fun filled Friday evening cleaning our asses off.
Today: cooking, cooking...I have the first batch of chili simmering and cornbread in the oven. Once the cornbread is done, I get to bake cupcakes! Veggies and fruit are prepped. I did not burn my hands on the jalapenos, but I did singe my tongue when checking to see if they were hot ones. Nate will be up from his nap in an hour, and then I will have to put party prep on hold until afternoon nap. I hope he doesn't fight the afternoon nap...
Tomorrow: the party is 11:30-1:30, roughly between Nate's morning and afternoon naps. After we clean up, we will probably have a low-key evening. We have Avatar from Netflix. I've heard it's basically Pocahontas meets Dances with Wolves, but it was such a big deal when it came out, I want to watch it. Rodgers worked yesterday so he can be off tomorrow.
Sunday: Just a normal Sunday: church, lunch, DH goes to work.
I actually have a real weekend off! Woot!
Tonight, work, and then "mandatory fun" work party, but that should be over by about 6:30pm. No real plans tonight, but DH's friends tend to want to do stuff at the last minute.
Tomorrow: Dunno really yet. I am really going to try and get out and run tomorrow, since I haven't been able to in so long. I also have some cleaning and errands to run. We might go sailing with a friend. We're having dinner with the same friend at night.
Sunday: No plans yet. I would love a day to loaf around and watch movies.
Kristen - hope baby's head is down for you, let us know how the appointment goes!
And for you football fans - have fun with the games (I'm only slightly embarrassed that I really had no idea who is even playing this weekend
)
Today - need to get some laundry done and I'd like to wipe down the rest of the doors (random, I know, but I started on them last weekend and got winded, so I'm only halfway done!). H and I are running to sign off on the Highlander lease and finish up financing since we'll be keeping it (he better not change plans on me at the dealership today).
Tonight - a good friend is taking maternity photos for us! She is just starting out and has a small studio in her house, so nothing too major, but I'm still excited for it
Tomorrow - my mom and sis are coming over and we're going to be on a cooking spree to fill up the freezer.
At some point this weekend we NEED to get our car seat bases installed!!
Oh, and I just scheduled a pregnancy massage for Monday night, so for once I can't wait for Monday to get here
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Hey now! I'm a die-hard Bears fan. Have been from birth, even though we moved out of Chicago when I was 10.
Amelia is going to be a big sister!
Nothing much for us.
Pampered Chef party tonight and getting firewood for someone else tomorrow.
Couldn't agree with you more on this Larissa!
Tomorrow: Working from home (again this weekend-UGH). Hopefully getting some house cleaning done. We are also meeting with a prospective kitchen guy in the morning.
Sunday: Going cabinet/kitchen shopping-Can't wait!
Sorry! I grew up in Bears country, even went to the Bears/Pack game on NYE in 2005, but I just get SO bored during NFC games.
