Happy Friday! What's up for the weekend?
I've been so tired this week and am so happy the weekend is almost here. What are you all up to? I think the only thing we have planned is a birthday dinner for my grandpa on Sunday.
ETA: Do you have a long weekend? I don't so just realized that some people get Monday off too. I don't have another long weekend until May (Memorial Day)
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Happy Friday! What's up for the weekend?
Aw, Rock, that's really nice!
We're having family night tonight- no visitors. Which is wonderful, because we ALWAYS have visitors.
Tomorrow, the ILs are coming over to see LO in the afternoon, then we're going to dinner with my good friend and her H.
Sunday, DH has tickets to the Pats game. So I have invited 2 of my girlfriends over, one of whom used to be a bartender in college, so we're going to have dinner and some professionally made mixed drinks and watch the Golden Globes, mostly just because I love Ricky Gervais.
Andrea- you're Golden Globe night sounds fabulous!
Tonight we're going to the Beer Summit with some great friends. Tomorrow morning I have to work & take a couple of yoga classes. Tomorrow night H is working and I'm going for sushi with a great friend. Sunday a friend is stopping by in the morning and then I have lunch with another friend. Sunday night H is working and I'm camping out on the couch.
Have a good weekend, girls!
Happy Friday, ladies!
It's payday, so after I pick up Sami tonight, I'm going to run the few errands I've been very much putting off. Tomorrow I'm getting a much needed mani with my mom and my sister, and then I'm taking DH out for his birthday. And Sunday I'm going shopping up at the Burlington Mall with my girls from college. Since I also have Monday off, I think I'm going to finish taking down the Christmas decorations once and for all!

It must be SO amazing to have a living grandparent!
I think DH has a 3 day weekend. I'll have to ask. I think we will go out again tonight, I took DS out shopping this afternoon and he did well. I got him some summer clothes, and got myself some new Pumas (it is time to retire my 1,000 year old ones to the shelter shoes pile) and my friend a birthday gift.
We are interviewing 3 more nannies this weekend (hoping to hear from 1 more). If Sunday proves to be as nice as it says it will be, we will be going to the state park with P-dog and DS and taking a nice long walk in the sunshine!
We are SO boring now that we have a kid...
happy friday ladies!
i have nothing really planned for the weekend. just the same old same old cleaning the house, keep working on the kitchen and spending some time with the family. i'll probably try to do a little shopping... i need to find SIL a birthday gift.
no 3-day weekend for me!
Rock - Love the grandpa birthday dinner!
Andrea - In those first few weeks we treasured the family dinner time because there were always people stopping by. There was one night that my parents, aunt, cousin, and siblings were here and we were all supposed to go to dinner ... we wound up sending them to dinner without us and they brought our meal to us when they were done. I think we spent the time they were gone just laying on the couch with Lil.
Smal - so cool. Some of my friends are pouring at the Beer Summit. It should be a lot of fun!
mbmc - love the collage of sami pictures!
punky - good luck with the rest of the interviews. Glad to hear shopping went well. I find myself planning trips around spacious baby changning spaces and nice places to sit while I feed her/ get a snack for myself now.
cc - sometimes I love to have a lazy cleaning / hanging with family weekend
haha ... maybe I should answer for myself too ...
I'm so excited to have a 3 day weekend. Not too much actually planned at the moment. I hope to see my sister at some point and probably have dinner with her. We may take Lil out in her sled if it's not too cold and hopefully we'll have a chance to meet a friends new baby ( just 3 days old).
