I am the biggest douche in the world.
A girlfriend of mine texted me a Save the Date yesterday. This will be the 4th wedding we attend this summer NONE of them are in town. My response text?" Oh crap, I was supposed to be visiting my family in Rio at that time, let me change some things around"
Next DH uses my cell phone to call his parents, while he's on the line she calls. She leaves me a long message apologizing for the date of the wedding
. I texted her back saying it's no big deal I will visit my Dad in March.
going off meredith's, i am SO FREAKING EXCITED we don't have any weddings with for-sure dates right now.
BUT i am gonna be sooooo pissed if we're not invited to the wedding of 2 former coworkers....cuz i wanna see the DIY crap-tacular-ness of it.
AND i saw on facebook they might want to have it in october, so i'm praying it's not our anniversary weekend, because i don't want to "share" it with HER.

One of my classes this semester pertains to natural resources law and is about 90% full of undergrads who are aspiring to go to law school. I figure I need at least one thing that will boost my confidence a little ....

Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
I need to pack. Badly but I found NO motivation last weekend and am praying for some this weekend.
I have HAD IT with our landlord. Yes, I know we are breaking our lease, but we gave you 1.5 months notice, have done ALL the advertising and kept the place SPOTLESS. Oh, yeah we have also done 90% of the showings too. Over 10 people have seen it, loved it, and filled out an application. Yet, no one who you "approve of" has come through yet (i.e. married, WASPY types!).
Oh and btw the landlord is getting another year lease out of the deal- not just someone to fill the 5 months remaining on our lease...at no cost to her. We're paying for ALL the cleaning.. DONEZO LADY. DONEZO!
