Its FINALLY Friday! This week felt very long!
Re: Where is everyone?!
i was thinking the same thing - it's so quiet around here today!!
yayyyy friday!!! what's everyone's plans for the weekend??
I'm having my parents and aunt and uncle over tomorrow for dinner, and the rest of the weekend i'll be hibernating - it's COLD!
Hellllooooooooooooooo There!
This week was ridiculous. So glad its the weekend!
I am here, although I really need to be working on my research, ugh.
But yay for it FINALLY being Friday, and a 3 day weekend at that since monday is a federal holiday.
Tonight I am going to go to the gym. DH wants to go shopping for some work clothes this weekend, but I dont think that we currently have any other plans. I am sure that DH will work most if not all the weekend though, boo.
I'm here but trying to stay uber busy so the day will fly!
I did a crapload of cleaning last weekend so I'm not doing much this weekend. Studying again and maybe some errands with DH. Taking it easy and want to figure out what to do with the extra day!
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Even with the snow day, the week has dragged on... so psyched to have a three-day weekend ahead!
Tomorrow DH and I go to PA for the day to meet my MIL and SIL to help SIL move.
Sunday: Football Playoffs!!!
Had been hoping/expecting to just watch all four games this weekend, but then I couldn't pass up the chance to see DH's family (especially since MIL lives in South Carolina and we haven't seen her since Grandma's funeral). So familial duty calls... and I confess I really was torn when I first heard of the "conflict"... AND, originally we were supposed to go on Sunday, and I was bummed to possibly miss the Pats game, but then DH was asked to switch his Sunday off for Saturday so he could fill in for someone. So now I get NFL Sunday to myself... yay!
Kinda glad baby's not due during football season, LOL!

The JBirds Bio ~ Updated 03.02.10 - Invites!
I'm here at home! Today is Lee-Jackson Day and that means a county holiday where I live. Yes, we have a holiday for the losers.
So far all I have done is take my puppy to the vet, because he had allergies and keeps scratching and chewing. Hopefully he will start to feel better soon.
Fridays dragggg around here so much. I was just watching a murder trial (exciting stuff!!!) but now it's over so I'm uhh...nesting, and that's pretty much it.
Tonight we're making a 4 course dinner for ourselves because we got some fancy wine and want to drink it. Fun! Tomorrow I need to work out and hopefully get some sun. Then Sunday we are going to a brunch event with Dr. Marty Becker who is the resident vet on Dr. Oz and Good Morning America. Maybe he can explain why my dog insists on pissing in his crate....
Jeff and I were just talking last night about how long this week has seemed (maybe because it is the first 5-day week we have had since before Christmas). I am so glad that it is Friday.
Jeff's grandpa is having a pace maker put it in, well, right now I guess. His surgery was scheduled for 11. He is 85 and is not doing well at all, so it was discussed if he could handle this (even though the surgery is very minor). But his heart rate kept dropping to like 30 - 40 bpm range, so he was just getting overly confused about stuff, so the doctor thought this was best. So, we hopefully will go up to see him tomorrow morning. Also, my sister out in California is going in at 9 pm tonight to be induced! I will have a nephew tomorrow!!! I'm so excited!! : )
I have to go get some groceries tomorrow, and turn in my YMCA volleyball team's sign-up sheet, then home to watch the Packers game. Sunday is church and relaxing (with some cleaning and laundry thrown in there).
Have a good weekend ladies!
I'm here. Trying to clean up the office from the week and also trying to arrange pick up of your second foster dog! Looks like I will be picking him up tomorrow afternoon.
Here's a preview of him:
His name is Sam and he is 5 1/2. Sounds like he has a really bad ear infection that we will have to deal with. Also sounds like his original family turned him into the rescue because they could not continue to deal with his ear infections...something that is usually preventable.....so sad!
Shmel's Blog
Hi, everyone! I'm actually off today, but H and I (he took today off also!) just got back in from furniture shopping for a sofa table for the living room, and I thought I'd jump on to say hey :-)
And yes - even though I had a short week, that sucker was loooong!!
Tonight I have a b-day dinner to go to, and tomorrow is a mini-spa day (mani/pedi) and then back home to make chili for game and to watch what I'm hoping will be some epic football games!! My one hope for all of them is that they are close, and good - whether or not the teams I am rooting for wins...Blow-outs get boring fast, so here's hoping to some hard fought, down to the wire finishes this weekend!!
Have great weekends, ladies :-)
I am working tomorrow 6am... boo
We are doing some research on taking in strays because there has been a few at DH's work and it is way too cold out for dogs to be running loose. But it is very unlikely that they will still be hanging around by Monday
The rest of the weekend will be spent on "spring" cleaning. I've got all the christmas decor put away, but there are a few rooms that need some extra attention, so I made a list room by room of what needs to be done.
Rach,
Do you have any bedding, pee pads, or toys in his crate? When our dog was a pup, our Vet told us to remove everything from her crate to stop the behavoir and it did work for us. This way if they do potty, they have no choice but to lay in it.
HTH,
Sheril
