Re: FFF

  • I have a ton of homework due the first day of classes (Tuesday) and haven't started it yet. :o/

  • Charli's birthday party is now less than a month away and I just started planning. I have sooo much to do and I'm going to be crazy busy again starting next week. Why do I procrastinate?
  • I just realized I'm finally over 5,000 posts. Yay! (Not that it really matters).
  • I'm starting to feel like a post whore now because no one else is on, but oh well!!

I really want to make those chocolate chip cookie dough truffles again just for myself to eat. I've wanted to for about two weeks now and it's getting hard to hold off. I think I'm going to make them for Charli's party just so I can eat a couple. Haha.

  • I have a lot of stuff to get done today but can't get motivated because I'm so excited that the bf is coming up from Columbus this evening.
  • When other people post about their weight loss, I feel jeoulos. And I know its totally stupid, b/c I am doing my own thing and making my own progress. I just want to do better and sometimes feel like I am holding myself back.
  • I get really annoyed that MIL keeps telling me she doesnt want B2 going to a sitter/daycare b/c she doesnt want a stranger watching him. WTH is she going to do when he goes off to school? That's a stranger!
  • DH has taken to saying "I appreciate you" lately when I'm busting ass around the house or running a million errands and stuff.   While I think that's sweet, and I appreciate the sentiment, in my head I'm thinking  "Stop appreciating and start f*cking helping with some of this crap!!!!!!"

  • On a related note...  I started making a list of all of the household 'chores', and noting what I do and what DH does.  The list is HORRIBLY lopsided, but when I go through and try to think of what I would want him to take over, I come up with like 2 things.  I'm too much of a control freak about everything else and I'm convinced he'll do it all "wrong" (aka, not the way I do)  Huh?

  • I drank a whole bottle of wine last night.  My head hurts.
  • I love Trader Joe's Olive Oil Popcorn.  I ate a whole bag this week.  In my defense 2 cups is only 130 calories and I ate them as my afternoon snack.  4 servings is the whole bag.
  • It annoys me that my friends have Friday's off work and I don't.  I want a 4 day work week dang it!

I absolutely hate cycling.  I have to do it though if I want to lose any weight.  My virginia hurts from that stupid class.

I adore my fiance.  For my HALF birthday, I got beautiful flowers at work, some black diamond earrings and a new camera.  I couldn't have gotten a better guy.

  • My Christmas tree is still up. I told DH I would take it down by NYE, but I have not.

Ours is too.  I did take down the outside decorations, but just haven't had the time/energy to take down the inside stuff. :-

  • Since Ella was born I can't stand to be around my in-laws. MIL and FIL are still OK but we don't like to go to their house... and DH's grandparents drive me freeking crazy. On Thanksgiving his grandpa told me to "be easy with her" and I wanted to puch him in the face. All I was doing was carrying her with one arm. And his Grandma is OCD neat freak and washes her paci every 30 seconds and looks at me like I am an awful person when I put it in her mouth without washing it. She also ALWAYS thinks Ella is cold. I swear she tried to cook us on thanksgiving, it was really hot in her house so we had a window cracked and she kept closing it telling us the baby was going to "catch a chill" whatever that means? (she was not in front of the open window) They also always insist on holding her, she's not a real clingy baby and we do not hold her all day long, she sits in her bouncer and lays on her playmat. I interact with her plenty, it's not like I ignore her... but I don't want her to think that she needs to be held 24/7 either. And when they are around I don't get to see her, 2 seconds after walking in the door they try to take her away from me and they don't give her back unless I make them. I just want to explode at them most of the time. Apparently she has been calling Chase and giving him crap because we don't invite them over. We don't invite anyone over, if they want to come they need to call and ask and we do make an effort to make time.

WOW that was really long... they just drive me batty and make me want to move far far away.

I can definitely understand why you are so frustrated!

I am afraid I will have the same problem with some of my family.  Baby C will be the first baby born in my family in quite a while (about thirteen years), and I have a feeling my family is going to be constantly holding her.  I am trying to lay down ground rules about things in general right now, but I have a feeling there may be some issues soon.

Most of my family members don't really care for the baby phase. My dad is the only one who really wants to hold her all the time, but I will just take her away from him, I don't care. I don't want to be the one to lay down the rules with his family, but he just seems oblivious and looks at it as a day off or something when they are around. It doesn't seem to bother him nearly as much.

  • I share a printer with about 15 other people. You would not believe how many times I have to reprint something b/c someone else took it. For crapsake, people, look at what you are taking instead of just taking the entire stack of papers.

I'm with you on this one and I only share it with 2 other people. I usually jump up right away to go get it, once I hear it printing.
  • I would like to get a maid 2xs a month, but DH says we have too much debt as it is. It would only be $100 a month to have someone come..hmmph! I'm still going to work on making this happen!
  • My husband and I are really trying to save money (we have some renovations we want to do on the house and we want to start the baby making thing sometime in 2012).  My in-laws do not seem to understand this.  They always want to go out to eat and MIL gets upset if we won't.  DH gets upset when I don't want to because I don't mind going out with my parents....my parents always pay when we go out--it costs us nothing!

I have another huge MIL vent, but its a pretty unique situation and with my luck someone she knows would read this board and pass along my complaint.  So I'll scream on the inside!!

  • Soooo.. I just bought a Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate chocolate chip muffin!  They are so bad for you, but with AF here, I just couldn't take it anymore.  It is sooo yummy!
  • Why are our renters so un-reliable for making a payment. If your payment its due on the 1st you should pay it on the 1st.  Then we get a partial payment w/ no explanation. We call get a sob story and give the women till the 14th to pay the remainder and still no $$. Guess who i'll be calling in a little while.

Watching my nieces for my sister this weekend.. Wow girls are so different then boys, I am so used to my little men.

Jen those muffins are so fricken good, the cookies are awesome too!

  • I am scared to death of this whole childbirth thing...even moreso the aftermath.  I just have this fear I can't do it.

My mom is once again taking over.  When I was planning my wedding...I really did not want a shower...she insisted and took the reigns in planning it.  Now she is insisting on a baby shower...I've told her to work with my two best friends on it...but at the same time, I fear it won't be much of a shower.  Mainly family (keeping in mind my mom and one of my aunts don't get along) and a few friends.  Over the last year, I've kind of grown apart from many people because life is like that.  They still wanted to party all the time, and I was beyond that.  Yep...I'm a loser with hardly any friends these days.

I'm thinking about going super short with my hair next weekend (Mom and I are spending a morning a Shamas...she's finally going to go to the woman who does my hair) but I'm afraid I will wuss out.

  • I believe the whole beach body coach thing is a scam.  I could be wrong...but the way one of DH's co-workers soon to be ex-wife is promoting it on FB, it's starting to feel cultlike to me.  I'm about to delete her anyway...I've always found her a little annoying and now that she and the co-worker are apparently splitsville, it's time to delete her.
