Re: Scandinavian designs?
I bought my bedroom frame, nightstands, and dresser from them. The quality of the pieces I bought were excellent and I'm super happy with them. I've had them for 5 years now and they look almost new.
However, I don't know about all their stuff. The bedroom set that I bought is actually made by another company and not by them. I'm not sure what the relationship with this company is or if they make their own stuff.
I did not negotiate with them but thought the price I paid was pretty great for the quality.

We bought a leather armchair and ottoman from them about two years ago. Still love the chair and it still looks great. We didn't negotiate (it was a gift, we were told to go pick it out), but the reason we selected them over others partially had to do with how reasonable and competitive their prices were.
I've been to the Cupertino, Sacramento and Rocklin locations.....if you can go to the Rocklin store...it is HUGE.
we have purchased numerous items from there over the past 10 years and have yet to have a problem. the prices are very reasonable given the quality of the pieces but in my experience, they don't usually negotiate unless its a LARGE order. that said though, it doesn't hurt to ask. they usually have 2 clearance sales a year and you can score some great deals then.
pm me if you have any questions about delivery and/or assembly.
We bought a couple of pieces (a large desk, and a big book case with drawers) there a few years ago. I was actually kind of disappointed in the quality of the materials and assembly issues we experienced. It felt a lot like IKEA products but at a much higher price. That said, the pieces look nice even a couple of years later. So while I probably wouldn't buy furniture there again, I'm OK with the pieces we have.
We didn't negotiate with them on the price - since it's a chain store it doesn't strike me like the type of place you can negotiate unless you're buying a lot of stuff. But like pp said, it doesn't hurt to ask. You should know that they also do financing, potentially with zero interest for a certain period if you have decent credit.
wait for the clearance for the other 2 chairs .. there should be another clearance sale coming up soon.
