i may kill verizon

we have fios.  we have had it for over two years.  in august we switched sides of our house and had the fios switched as well.  we also set it up to continue having our bill paid through auto pay.  so far we have had to call them every. single. month. to tell them to withdraw our bill.  what the heck is going on?  each and every time they assure us it's fixed.  grrrrrrr!  anyone else have this problem?

Re: i may kill verizon

  • I can not stand their customer service.... we did not receive a bill for maybe 6 or 7 months... possibly longer, I just dont remember.  We would have to call every single time, and every single time they kept saying we're sending them.  They verified addresses, emails and we NEVER got anything.

We went back and forth about going back to Cox just because of their customer service.... when we would call, it would take at least 20 minutes for them to find us in the system.  Since we never got a bill, we did not have our customer number (or whatever it is called) and we did not get phones through them and they just couldnt find us.  They would transfer us to person to person, and most of the time each person would say "I know no idea why they sent you to me."  I dread calling them.

  • I haven't had too many issues with Fios, or Verizon for that matter. Even with the long waits, and the bouncing me around from department to department for a fix for my recent problem, they are still a million times better than our experience was with Charter.

I hope that you're able to get it fixed. VERY ANNOYING that you have to deal with that each month. Someone should fix it and fix it right! :(

  • oh no! We are actually in the process of switching from Cox to Fios. We have had Cox for years but the prices are outrageous and we will be cutting our bill by $60 a month and we are getting an extra DVR!!! A good friend of mine sells Fios so she set me up but they do not come to install until next week. We'll see how it goes!!!
