I'm going to have a meltdown.

I am starving. Everything in the house is either dairy or nuts because that is what I lived on. So today I've eaten two plain waffles. Two chocolate chip cookies. And a glass of juice. Awesome. And Abe has been freaking out all day so I don't have time to make anything. He's having such a bird I don't feel right taking him to the store.

I want to just sit on the floor and cry with him.

  • :( poor girl

Is Seth coming home soon or is there any place that can deliver to you?

  • I agree, take-out sounds like a good idea!

I can empathize...two weeks of this low iodine diet, and it's getting a little old.  I'm trying to meal plan tonight, and can't think of anything I want to eat that I can eat.  I had egg whites and unsalted matzoh crackers for dinner :(

  • ((hugs)) I'm sorry.  I remember those days - I would literally eat a sleeve of Ritz crackers and that's all - so unhealthy and not even filling.  We all have days where we think "what am I doing wrong w/ this kid??" and then the next day they'll be an angel - who the heck knows.  Just know you're in good company and it will get better.  In the meantime, get some takeout!!  If they don't deliver, at least Abe might fall asleep on the car ride...

  • Sorry you're having a rough day! I don't have any advice really, except to agree with possibly getting takeout and hoping tomorrow is better. :(
  • Delivery = good idea.

You wouldn't be the first mom to sit on the floor and cry.  If that's what you need to do, do it.

    Sending you lots of hugs!

  • So sorry to hear.  Maybe there's something in the air because Adrian was just awful at this work dinner we went to.  He's never been so inconsolable.  It's no fun when nothing works.  I second the PP....take out.
