What's everyone doing on this cold, January weekend??
Re: Happy Friday!!!
Today: Sewing my little heart out for a custom order and fundraiser order, abby is in day care (yipee!), heading to the e-store, and working one of my last few shifts at LL Bean from 3-10 :-( MH comes home from a week long trip tonight!
Tomorrow: Swim lessons for Abby at 8:30, sewing, hopefully picking up some hours
Sunday: Finalizing some energy audit stuff on the house (programmable thermostats, caulking, spray foam, etc and my last shift at Beans.
I actually really liked working in the call center - it was nice being on the other side of the phones. I will miss the paycheck as well. I have 12 applications in and waiting for phone calls.
We have a whole lot of nothing going on and I am really looking forward to it!
Tomorrow and Sunday I have to hit the gym in the morning and then I have to get my car inspected on Saturday afternoon.
THAT'S IT!
Tonight: relax
Saturday: sew and have a date night at home with MH. He's been asking for bouef bourguignon for years and I've never got around to making it for him. So I'll make it, we'll dress up a bit for dinner, and then watch a movie.
Sunday: brunch with my best friend, roast a turkey and bake for the week (kclouts inspired me last week)
Monday: Holiday! I really thought I would need to do some work regardless of the holiday so I'm happy I can truly take the day off. Maybe do something fun with MH since we both have the day off.
DH has been on the road for 2 weeks at this point, so it's another easy going weekend for me.
Designing a bunch of albums, shoveling/snowblowing (again), sewing some covers for my couch cushions, and spending time getting my butt kicked at my gym. I absolutely love my gym and, sickeningly, the fact that I have been sore just about every day for a week.
Not too much going on here either. DH is working Saturday and Sunday, but we have Monday off together.
Eli has swimming lessons this evening and gymnastics in Saturday morning. We may have lunch with a friend on Sunday and go visit my parents at some point. Thinking about going to the Children's Museum on Monday or some other fun family activity. Excited to rest and relax!
Tonight : Dinner with the IL's at 99's. Hoping all goes well with Caroline. Dinner time is iffy with her and they always bring out the best :P Then, we'll bring her home and put her to bed and run up to BRU so I can use my Rewards money that expires tonight.
Tomorrow- DH has to work so I'll be putsing around here most likely. Was supposed to go get a mani/pedi but he's not sure when he has to go in.
Sunday - Going to a 1 yr old's B-day party down in Billerica. Then, on the way back up drop off DH in Portsmouth so he can finish the job there Sunday night.
YEAH FOR THE WEEKEND!!!
Tonight: Standing rountine for my L&L workout, and relaxing around the home. I've started drinking seltzer with juice out of pretty wine glasses on Fridays so I can pretend to have my own little "happy hour". Lame, I know, but it's kind of fun!
Tomorrow: Watching the Steelers-Ravens match up (rooting for the Steelers only because I have more deep seeded disgust for the Ravens, but it was close call!), and then possibly heading Gloucester to visit a friend and catch up over dinner.
Sunday: PATRIOTS GAME and then DH flies back home after two weeks of training in Seattle, woohoo! I'm dying to watch the Patriots game at home all cozied up on the couch, and having Ky home for a whole week to myself makes for the perfect end to the weekend.
I also have Monday off for MLK Day, and it's the first day of Ky's vacation, so I think we'll just chill around the house and maybe go out for dinner.

man, I remember when I use to enjoy those words
this morning meant back to work for me...and I'll be working every day through Tuesday for now...which is good, since I've been off all week
H and I are going out to dinner tonight, which will be nice, since we've eaten in every night for the past couple of weeks to save...and we have a gift card from Christmas, which will help...otherwise, it will be an uneventful weekend of working
tonight--just relaxing! Taylor was super tired so she went to bed early and I'm hoping she sleeps late. The cold in our household is kicking her butt and I think she is having a growth spurt (they have one about this age right?)
tomorrow--mom is coming down and bringing T's 9m pics we had done at JCP on NYE. Can't wait to see them printed. I'll probably upload her 6m one too so I can fill the frames. We are going to go to Freeport for a few hours. We don't need anything but for some reason T is growing out of all her pants, so off to find something that fits her. Poor kid is cursed...she is built just like me.
Sunday--just hanging around. I'm trying to get my VPN to work so I can do some OT from my recliner....hoping that works out. If not, oh well...I'll watch the back of my eye lids from the recliner instead
We spent most of today at the Children's Museum -- tons of fun. The rest of the night was spent cleaning and organizing in anticipation of the return of the houseguest parade.
Saturday: more cleaning, then some shopping for last-minute Christmas gifts for my MIL & SFIL, who arrive late tomorrow evening. (Yeah, you heard me right -- I am still Christmas shopping. I blame MH for this one.) Hopefully finally prepping the walls in the dining room for paint. I know I say that every weekend, but this time I mean it.
Sunday: hanging out with the ILs, and maybe taking advantage of them to go on a date with MH.
Monday (hooray 3-day weekend!): taking more advantage of IL visit to run some errands w/o Owen. I need to get fabric to cover my dining room chair cushions.
