How Many Jobs Have You Had?
Sorry to be a PW, but I this was a question on a poll on another board, and I feel slightly freakish about the number of jobs that I have had. BUT I have had long stretches where I worked 3 jobs at a time, and I have been working for 15 years. Pleast put my mind at ease - how many jobs have YOU had??

- Boston Market/Skating Rink Attendant (age 17)

- Bank Teller (age 18-19)
- Victoria's Secret/Event Attendant/Mary Kay (age 19)

- Waitress & Bartender (age 20-22)
- Youth Worker/Waitress (age 22)
- Restaurant manager (age 23-24)
- Contractor (age 22-24)
- Restaurant Manager - take 2 (age 24)

- Coffee Shop Manager (age 25-26)

** I feel like I am forgetting some. Seriously, my brain hurts thinking about this. FWIW, I have NEVER been fired from a job before, and there was only ONE that I left on less than great terms because there were legal issues that I brought to their attention, and they weren't happy. Whatever, I know I did the right thing, and their response was just what I needed to make my decision to QUIT!

I answered your other post but I'll give a little more detail in this one.
1. Church bookstore (age 18-19)
2. Receptionist /Accounts Receivable (age 19-22)
3. Accounts Receivable/Administrative Assistant (age 22-31)
4. Old Navy (age 23-24)
If you count the separate positions within the same company, I've had 6 jobs. I was laid off once but was called back a month later. I have never been fired.
Hmmmm....this will require some thought....
1.) Cashier at Target (16-17)
2.) Waitress/ Short order grill cook at local pizza place (17-18)
3.) Head Lifeguard/Swim Instructor/ Middle School Swim coach...this was all at one time at the same place so I am counting it as one job.
4.) Assistant to the Admin. Assistant during a summer in college for my dad's business
5.) Swim Instructor/Lifeguard at the college I attended, this was during the school year and a few summers
6.) Student Assistant Swim coach at that same college (3 seasons)
7.) Waitress at a Steakhouse (I really didn't like when they started making us line dance and sing, once that started I didn't last long)
8.) Admissions Representative for a private college
9.) General Manager for a Women's health club
10.) Waitress at Green Mill
11.) CNA (This one and number 10 were at the same time when we moved and I just needed a job to bring in money)
12.) My current position which is my dream job... Aquatics Coordinator, as you can tell I love the water based off of all my other experiences.
hmmmm, interesting question!
1. Nursery worker (at church): 14-18
2. Walgreens: 16 (I lasted a couple months - yuck)
3. Child care (aid, assistant teacher, teacher, assistant director): 16-23
4. Part-time nanny: 16-23 (same family the entire time - amazing people!)
5. Accounting intern: 21
6. Accountant/CPA: 23-present
Really not that many in the grand scheme I suppose. (and yes, there was a period of time when I was going to college, working FT as assistant director at a daycare AND working part-time as a nanny - that was an exhausting year!)
Also, we have a family business and I left-off my time spent helping there.
