Hey ladies!
I know I haven't been the best about posting here regularly, but I still read what everyone is up to daily. I start teaching tomorrow (high school drama at an urban technology magnet) as a long-term sub. I've agreed to stay for a month, and if things go well I will be there through May. I'm nervous because these kids haven't had a consistent teacher all year so I don't know what they've covered or where they're at. I also have very little background in drama. Despite taking extra theatre classes in college it is definitely the part of my teaching endorsement I feel least prepared for. As I said I'm nervous, but excited. I'm finally really teaching! Just hoping I can get some of those super vibes you ladies have...
I'll keep you posted on how things go, and I've also started a blog at optimisticeducator.blogspot.com
