Wood Floors!

What do you clean your wood floors with? Mine never seem to look clean!

Re: Wood Floors!

  • Murphy's oil soap and a scrub brush.

If they always look dull, the finish may have worn off.    This would mean refinishing is needed.  It is kind of expensive but it would totally renew the floors and give them a high sheen.

  • I got a steam mop for Christmas and love what it does to my floors, without chemicals (I use filtered water and a bit of vinegar) or hard labor.

  • vacuum then steam mop (every other week). In between mopping, I just spot clean. The guy who installed our HW floor actually told us that we should rarely be mopping. He told us to spot clean as needed and mop maybe 1-2 times a year!
