DH is sick..

He's got mono. Yes, I realize most people only think kissy teenagers get it, but apparently that's not the case. Business trips are notorious for this. Fabulous. He's miserable. I'm miserable. It sucks. I've taken up residency on the couch. It looks like I could be here 4-6 weeks.

Damn I wish he finished fixing the TV that is now laying on the guest bed, I'd certainly be comfy for me right now..but heaven for bid his dam TV screen get scratched.

And I'd be taking that tv off the bed pretty quickly! Sleeping on the couch for 4-6 weeks will not be fun.

Oh man, that sucks! Is he on meds for it? Mono works so differently in different people. I had it for 4 months, my boyfriend at the time had it for a week. Hopefully your husband will get it over and done with really quickly!

Aww, Kari tha suck. I remember when my brother had mono when we were younger, it sure seemed like it sucked. I hope he gets better quick!

Yuck. DH had this last year around this time. I never got thank goodness but DH slept a hole lot. He should have a little bit energy to finish putting up the tv in the guest room.

Donna - I'm so sorry you have it too. Hope you get over it quickly.

Kaesha - They said there really isn't anything they can give you for it. It just has to work it's course. He's supposed to take Aleve every 8 hours and they gave him a few days worth of vicodine. He refused to fill it yesterday and by this morning was begging me to take it to the pharmacy. The vicodine is to relax his body and let him get good sleep.

I'm going to see if a coworker can help me move the TV tomorrow after work, it's a giant flat screen and I can't move it on my own.

LOL, I just remembered that antibiotics don't work. I remembered taking them (my first mono test came back negative), which is why I suggested it, but then remembered they gave them to me when they thought it was something else.

My bad!

I'm surprised they gave him vicodine - the only thing mono was good for was putting me to sleep for hours on end. I was sleeping 14-15 hours a day!
