H and I LOVE asparagus.  We eat it several times a week when it's in season.  Unfortunately, now that it's winter, it's all big enough to build houses with.  Asparagus should be about pencil thick, and we like it steamed in a paper bag with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper,   NOM!  Stinky pee!

I was lazy (hey, I worked AND made cookies).  I had P3: pasta, peas, and pesto.  Possibly the simplest dinner ever, and we almost always have everything already on hand.  Cook the pasta, frozen petite peas, and store-bought (Buitoni, NOT Progresso) pesto.  Seriously, easy, and delicious.  As long as you have a high peas to pasta ratio (I do practically 50/50), it's not horribly bad for you.

  • last night were Turkey burger sliders (I made homemade hamburger rollls and they were too small for full burgers) and fries.  Today we'll have potato filled meatloaf and greenbean bundles.
