Wedding Venue Question
Question: I did not get married in the Cincinnati area so I only know of a few reception venues around here. My best friend just got engaged and I am trying to help her find a ceremony/reception venue for 100 guests. Any place you would recommend?

We had our ceremony at a church; and the reception was at the Cincinnati Marriott at Rivercenter (KY side of the river) They can accomodate for both ceremony & reception if that is what is preferred.
She would like the ceremony and reception in the same spot. I also think she is looking for something a little more unique. Location doesn't seem to be a big issue since most guests are from out of town anyway. Thanks girls!
Not knowing anything about your friend's budget I'm going to throw out a large variety of options to brainstorm. Note, I can't vouch for any of these venues personally but just think they're a little more unique.
Bell Event Center - Would have considered this venue if I didn't have so many guests. Every wedding I've seen from here has been gorgeous.
Cincinnati Art Museum - Again, very very beautiful but was too costly for my budget. I also like that you can take wedding photos inside the galleries when holding your wedding here. Some of my favorite photos from people's weddings are taken inside the galleries here.

Great American Ballpark - Are your friends big baseball fans and/or do they dream of getting married on a ballfield? Trickytrickey had the most awesome themed wedding here!
Paul Brown Stadium - Same thing as above but for the football fan.
20th Century Theater - I *think* this is a little more budget friendly. My favorite themed wedding was Spangwd's (sp?) seen on the boards have been retro hollywood held here.
Mulhauser Barn - Another more budget friendly option but with a rustic feel.

The aquarium would be awesome! From what I remember though, they are very strict (No glitter, balloons, etc etc) and I believe you have to be out by 11 or 12.
