Sorry ladies, I don't get a chance to get on here often (can't get on from work anymore) and when I do it takes forever to load or usually gives me a stupid error. So, I'm trying this again before I give up.
How did everyone do this week? And, hmmm....Is anyone losing weight for medical reasons as well as vanity reasons?
I finally got on the scale after a 6 week hiatus and I am very proud to announce that even though I binged in Las Vegas, Christmas, and all last week due to PMS, I didn't gain one ounce. I didn't lose, but I didn't gain. I think that's an accomplishment! I also only exercised 3 times this week. With our second blizzard snowing us in and a period from hell I thought it was best to just veg.
I am trying to eat right and exercise to help lower my cholesterol. I also have chronic back issues, so doing pilates helps me a lot in that aspect.
Re: Late Fit Friday
Not gaining is huge in my book, especially with the holidays, trips etc. I was pretty much in the same boat. I've maintained, and been bouncing back and forth the same 3 pounds, but i've also been running and walking and excercising A LOT more in general and my clothes are fitting differently (aka better), so something is going right.
DH will be out of town all this week, so I'm really going to crack down on myself this week and try to eat super healthy and get in some great workouts. I haven't started the C25K yet, but either this week or next I will. We've been out running the dogs and hiking the property, so I've been doing some good outdoor stuff and then keeping up with the indoor.
We had our blood work for our health insurance yesterday, so i'm interested to see what comes back as i've had 1 high cholesterol before. My blood pressure was really good, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I did good with eating. Still haven't added exercise back in. I just can't get motivated and I know the gym is packed. I lost 4 lbs this week and am very happy with that! Hope to continue next week.
I have no specific health reasons to drop a few pounds but I do want to be healthier over all.
