I swear...

I turn into a 12 year old girl when I watch the red carpet coverage of any award show.  I love seeing all the dresses, jewelry, and hair.  If only I had a gazillion dollars to buy the dresses and places to where them...

Anybody else watching the Golden Globes?

  • I watched last night too!  I was glad Social Network won at the end... I usually don't watch the movies that win those awards, so I was glad that a "normal" movie won!

I also thought Natalie Portman looked gorgeous.  It seemed like everyone had some kind of sheer sleves on their dresses - it was weird, I kept seeing it over and over!

Her maternity dress was so cute!

  • I liked Olivia Wildes (the black cinderella dress with the gold sparkles), Emma Stone (the really simple peach with the high neck and cap sleeves), Carrie Underwood, and Claire Danes.  What was January Jones thinking?  and we won't even discuss Halle Berry.
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!
  • I watched and totally squeeeed the entire time...loved Natalie's dress.  Also loved Olivia Wildes dress (I could spin around in that for days).  I didn't like Halle Berry's dress but she is bangin, she can wear whatever she wants... Wink
  • I adore the red carpet for all of the award shows.  It's become a thing - and I have to watch them with my parents.  They love that crap.

I loved the Golden Globes on Sunday.  But I have to say that I thought Natalie Portman's dress looked like she had a satin bed sheet wrapped around her.  I love her, but that dress was terrible....even if she did look cute.

I liked Anne Hathaway's dress (sans the giant shoulders).  I thought Katie Segal looked fantastic and Matt Damon's intro for De Niro was perfect.
