Is no one else working this morning?

Blows that I had to come in today. Oh well.
Good news is that we are starting to wind down on this project so I probably won't have to come in every day anymore very soon.

Bad new is that the project is winding down so I won't get a big fatty pay check every two weeks.

I really like checks that show up like clockwork. My usual clients never pay like this.

I'm here...didn't have the day off. Sad

I had a nice weekend home w/ Don...even though he was sick, it was still nice to have him home for the whole weekend! I tried some new recipes and made a cake...it made me happy!

I really hope this week doesn't go a slow as last week did!!!

I'm sort of here, but trying to stay away so I can get work done.

I decided to stay home and work, thinking that they wouldn't be renovating upstairs since it's a holiday, but I was wrong. I all set up though, so I'm just trying to down out the noise with the TV. At least they aren't using the sledgehammer and jack-hammer again today.

Noisy neighbours with home projects seems to be the trend around here.

I can't believe how much time is dragging, yet flying at the same time!

I have an awful, awful confession.

I'm still working on sending out my thank you notes :O

I've finished maybe 12? out of 100. I'm screwed. And I suck. They are so much work and I desperately just need a day to veg out and do nothing. The only reason I got 12 of them done was because I took them on vacation with me. Yeah..."vacation".

This!!! Me too! I was really good maybe the first 2 weeks and wrote some. Now I have NO desire to finish them. I know I need to finish them like yesterday. At least now I don't feel so alone now Smile

You can definitely complain about this. Noise ordinances vary widely, but no way in hell is 5 am okay anywhere. I would be banging on that a$$hole's door. I know that 7 am (when they started here, on Friday) is sort of reasonable, since most people are awake, but 5 am is not ok. It's impossible that your neighbor didn't realize he was being disruptive at an incredibly rude hour.

I went upstairs Friday so pissed off that I think I scared the guy, and I demanded that they not do work until 8 am. I heard them go up there at 7:30 this morning, but I could tell that they were trying to be quiet until 8:00 am. I had to smile to myself, because apparently acting like a raving lunatic worked. So maybe if you go over there guns blazin', you'll get him to behave as well.

I'm not at work today, (NO SCHOOL!) but I'm around. I have some chores to do around the house, especially vaccuming. It's really bad and I didn't get to it yesterday. I am fighting a cold too, so I mornings suck right now. My nose is stuffy and runny at the same time and is really annoying. I have been in a bit of an organizing spree lately, so that's on the agenda today too. Maybe putting some stuff on craislist too because I feel like there is STUFF everywhere in my house right now. *sigh*

I'm here at work, boo hoo. My roomate got to stay home today (she works at a bank) and I was thinking damn her for sleeping right now. I still have no car due to this whole oil changing fiasco, and we are now in just a waiting game to see what their appraiser is going to say, if he ever goes and looks at my car. Luckly my mom is on vacation this week so I am using her car in the mean time. On the down side I have to go let out her dog this week in the evenings. And she lives about 20 minutes from my house. I know this week is going to suck so i'm mentally preparing myself now.

Im working too, but I got some good news this morning. I was scheduled to go for my 1st appt after testing positive on Jan 27th, but my Dr called and has a cancellation this afternoon!! I cannot wait! I first tested positive on Jan 3rd and have since taken 6 tests because I don't believe it. I will finally get official word that i'm pregnant and I can tell everyone!

Tomorrow if it happens again I am gonna rage! I need the little sleep that I do get so an hour early wake up is not ok. and our quiet for the city is 8 but for the condos we live in is 9 for stuff like that because I live with a bunch of old people!

You must be on pins and needles. I feel like I'm supposed to be trying harder to get pregnant, but every month I'm not I think, one more month of freedom!

Afternoon(almost!) ladies..I'm here too! I, however, am not working. I'm on vacation all week trying to get the house clean and the nursery painted and put together. I'm hoping today flies by because I find out tomorrow if I am having a boy or girl!

This is my first week of vacation that I am not going anywhere and it kind of makes me sad. But it is really nice to be home and get things down with out H around. I am going to go get a spray tan today to atleast make me feel like I sorta have been somewhere warm and sunny.

My lame-o company finally gave us MLK day off of work, yay! I slept in, made James breakfast and sent him off to work. I did some laundry, got a pedicure (used a gift cert. that a friend gave me for my bridal shower back in August) and went to Target (using another gift card). Now I'm just hanging out and don't want to go back to work tomorrow.

Hey girls! I worked today but was super busy! At least my commute was better because so many people had off. Got home and made DH a really yummy dinner tonight - I love that he loves my cooking

I'm kind of feeling mixed emotions right now. Not this past Saturday but the Saturday before, DH and I had some sexy time when we realized the condom broke (sorry if TMI). I am not on the pill (never have been) and had no other form of birth control. So, DH and I had this whole big discussion and I decided I was just going to wait and see what happened. No Plan B or emergency contraception or anything. Well, I got my period. It's good cuz DH and I want to wait until at least late next year before we start trying, but I still feel a little twinge of disappointment. I bounced back and forth between excitement at the possibility and relief. Relief probably means we're not ready yet.

ive been there. not because of a condom breaking, but being 2 weeks late on BCP...we weren't ready to have a baby, but when AF finally showed up i was torn between being relieved and disappointed. that's happened twice to us since we've been together. we're still not ready to have a baby yet (as in actively trying), but i admit that every month that AF arrives a part of me is a little sad.
