Since I'm home and all.. I guess I should get my booty in the kitchen and cook some dinner this week. I lack imagination and creativity on this.. soo.. what's everyone else having for dinner?

Married My Best Friend on 9/17/2010
Re: WFD?
Tonight we're going to be really lazy and heat up Jack Daniel's shredded chicken (from the grocery store, just microwave) and put it on some challah rolls. Later this week I'm making the paella I posted a while back, and another day I'm making thai coconut curry shrimp (but with 1/2 shrimp, 1/2 chicken), along with some coconut ginger rice.
Also on queue this week is shake 'n bake parmesan chicken with mushroom risotto, and gnocchi (from Trader Joe's, not homemade). We're going out one night this week because someone is leaving Jeff's lab, I think we're doing tapas.
Edited because when I posted the link for the shrimp it was all effed up, but when I went to edit it was normal...so I just took it out.
Tonight we're having a super simple crockpot pork cops over egg noodles and veggies.
Lately I haven't felt like cooking when I get home so I'm trying to throw everything in a crockpot before I leave for work so when I come home - dinner is already done!
It's restaurant week in Philly. My goal is to eat out every night this week.
Cause I'm a glutton.

Shiggity I was supposed to make reservations last week for me, MFD and a friend and I didn't. Thanks for the reminder.
LUCKY! Ours runs over Valentine's week and the week after and we say *every* year we're gonna do it, and ALWAYS forget. I swear, this year for sure...hell we love eating out.
Dinner tonight is leftover asparagus and chicken risotto (yum!). King ranch chicken casserole is on the agenda for sometime this week for me only. DH is trying to go all raw for the week (he's a nutjob, but I love him!).
Ours is called 5280 week (we're a mile high=5,280 ft, get it?). All the fancy schmancy restaurants offer a 3 course meal for 2 for $52.80. It's put on by 5280 Magazine and it lets people try a place they may never have before because of their prices. Each year different restaurants are featured and reservations go quickly, it's kind of a big deal.
Yup, exactly. Pre fixes for all!
I like it cause of the prices, but also cause usually it's a great way to see all the signature dishes showcases. You really get the best bang for your buck.
At some places you get 3 courses for less than the price of their usual single entree. For a pig like me, it's heaven.

Ours is this week through the end of the month, except it's called Dine about Town. Pretty good deals, $17.95 for lunch, $34.95 for dinner. Which is pretty good since everything in SF is usually a maaaaajor rip off.
Mmmmm.........foooood.
Tonight I'm making garlicky shrimp pasta.
