is talking to "runaway" brides and grooms. The first lady clearly doesn't want to get married and has set up a number of hoops for the dude, including money issues and wanting him to lose weight. The one the good doctor is hung up on? That she wants him to agree to change his name to hers. Phil seems to think that is Ca-razy.

Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
I used to like Dr Phil when he was an occasional Oprah guest. Once his show turned into Maury Povich, I haven't watched. One day there was a woman with a husband leading a double life as a serial killer or something, became violent with her, was stalking her, and Dr Phil was helping them "sort through it". How does one sort through serial killing? He was trying to get the guy to "open up" about the killings because she knew there was a serial killer in her area but didn't know it was her husband. It was a 2 day show with an update later on or something.
Or where he gets all the people with an issue in the same room and pairs them up with person they're scared of. Like a blond white lady deathly afraid of black males because once she was attacked by one. So, if she sees one she crosses the street, hyperventilates, etc. So, she had to be paired with with a big black man to get over her fear. So on and so forth. Weird sh*t.
I'm pretty much over talk shows except Wendy Williams. I'm waiting for Ethan to say a really good "How you doin'?" then I'm sending it in. But even that we don't have time to watch anymore.
That's bizarre. I'm not sure I believe it's true.
Hah.
And I was asking sincerely...I've never watched the show. Does he ever have 'normal' people on? I only ever hear stories about crazycakes people.
I don't know about "normal." I guess you aren't going on a TV psych show if you aren't effed up somehow.
How do you not know your husband is a serial killer? Did she think he was in jail for parking tickets?
I mean, I'm assuming he had been arrested and charged, and he didn't just go on Dr. Phil to reveal his serial killing ways even though he hadn't been caught.

Um, yeah. Hello? BigBootyJudy??? (and I'm forgetting her original sn). She was on Montel!
Not just divorce, divorce with life-partnership (which apparently entails remaining in the same home and going ahead with plans to have kids, just without remaining married).

Oh, Sam. I love stupid TV. I'd probably still watch Maury's Which of These 14 Guys is the Baby Daddy if it were still on. I'm currently watching a marathon of Rachel Zoe. I know she stays skinny to fit into samples, but girlfriend would look so much better with thirty pounds to fill in the smoker's canyons around her mouth.

I find her surprisingly likeable too. I can't believe she managed to get pg with 0% body fat. I also cannot imagine her with a baby.
Nope! It was SAHM.
I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
