How was everyone's weekend?
I started off great going to a surprise 30th bday party for one of Dh's bf's. It was fun, good to see people. But I woke up yesterday with a lovely cold. Last night I didn't get any sleep. I was start to fall asleep then the stupid drainage in my throat would make me cough and wake myself up. So I called in today since I really didn't seep at all last night.
Poor DH is off to Buffalo to help one of his friends move today. He couldn't have gotten much sleep since I was up a lot of the night tossing and turning.
I'm on my mom's laptop today since DH took his with him as he is staying over to start the semester tomorrow. A few of her keys aren't working well and it's driving me nuts.

My weekend was pretty quiet. I went to bed early Friday night after some chinese food and Shrek 4.
Saturday I was up early and went grocery shopping, then sat around and did nothing - watched a couple movies, watched DH play Wii.
Sunday we went to dinner at FILs house then to a comedy show with SIL and her FI and BIL (DH's brother).
Today I am at work. I don't think I have had MLK day off since I was in school.
DH did make a couple comments about me being KU. The best was "Maybe we should have sex. It's not like I can get you knocked up or anything," We both started laughing.

We had a pretty good weekend.
Saturday was a lazy day and we loved it. We went grocery shopping and to the mall. Xander came out of the shopping trip with three new pairs of shoes. His feet have grown 1.5 sizes in a month and half.
Sunday I ran to target and the grocery store again in the morning and then we went to see my FIL for his bday. I have to say how proud I am of my FIL and his out look on his rehab. He never says he can't do something new, just that he's never done that before. He can now walk about 100 feet with the aid of a walker and then has to take a break. He can stand up out of the wheelchair with the walker and get himself into his bed.
Today I am off and have Xander at home with me. I love the extra time with him. I'm just doing laundry and house work today whenever Xander lets me.

Friday was a whole bunch of nothing.
On Saturday, Drew had an early night at work, so we went over to his coworker's house and hung out with him and his wife and their two kids. It was a lot of fun to be able to spend some time with people. His wife and I talked a bunch about the cruise that we're going to take next spring for them to renew their vows.
Sunday, Drew didn't have to go into work until later, so we went and picked up some more stuff for the basement. Him and his dad installed the recessed lighting in the guest bedroom and changed out the outlets. The only thing left to do in the room is patch a hole in the wall and buy some artwork for the walls.
I also channeled my inner geek and created a spreadsheet to track the cost breakdown of the remodel. I'll probably do a blog post later today.

My Monday wasn't too bad. The work day was busy so it went by quickly which is always nice, even though I didn't get a chance to sit down, or take a break for lunch. One of my employees made deep fried oreos, I had two, they were amazing. But not very nutritional as far as lunches go....
Came home to a sick hubby, he's been sleeping since before I cam home (and I've been home for about 2.5 hours now). I woke him up long enough to get him to decide if he was going to work or not... we decided not. He sounds like crap. He asked me if that's how morning sickness feels, horrendous nausea, no fever, and not puking. I laughed, and said told him it was close. Then he made me call his Sgt. and leave a message saying Dh couldn't work tonight. I also left that Dh was being too pathetic and made me call lol. Luckily, we're friends with his Sgt so it wasn't super awkward.
Now I'm about to run errands D was supposed to, but obviously didn't get to. And then I'll come home and make him hot tea, medicine, and chicken noodle soup.

Friday night my dad's whole side of the family met at my grandmother's house for dinner in honor of the one-year passing of my grandfather.
Saturday we attended a huge party for the Ravens game. Sadly, they didn't win
Sunday was pretty chill. Rob and I watched football at home.
Today my sis and I did a little shopping. Tonight we're going out to dinner for my 30th birthday since I had to cancel last Monday as a result of being sick.
