I am in desperate need...
of a social life. It has gotten way too old sitting around the house all the time. All my friends are back in Baton Rouge though and sometimes that's just too far to drive on last minutes notice

We have friends that live on the westbank, but that's a good hour drive for us from the northshore. I was just telling my husband, we need more friends on the northshore! We are still young (at heart). No, my husband is young: 25 and I am 27. So we still like to drink and have a good time. A lot of people our age are kind of out of the partying stage....or they have kids! So I don't know. I kind of feel like we aren't going to make friends until we have kids
Not weird at all, it's actually done a lot on the other boards. They are called GTG or get togethers. This board had one or two before, when it was more active. Sounds like a good idea,
Nope not weird at all! When I first moved down here I didn't know a soul outside of my husbands family. Went to the Baton Rouge board and after a couple months we all decided to have a gtg. Since then we do it all the time and I made all my friends that I have now from that board
I think a gtg is a great idea!
